In the game that I attended this evening, North Central used a huge second quarter from junior guards Papi Rivera Papi Rivera 6'1" | PG North Central | 2025 State IN and Nijah Jewell to pull away from Arsenal Tech. 12 points from Rivera and 8 from Jewell turned a five point game into a 17 point game in the period. Then, the Panthers put it on ice in the fourth quarter before ultimately winning 86-57. Papi Rivera Papi Rivera 6'1" North Central 1 | 2025 IN led the way 19 points, 17 of which game in the second half. Jaxson Bell Jaxson Bell 6'3" | SG North Central | 2024 State IN added 15 points while Gavin Petty Gavin Petty 6'5" | SG North Central | 2026 IN and Nijah Jewell chipped in 11 and 10 points respectively. In the loss for Arsenal Tech Jayden Ford scored 19 points to go with 7 rebounds. Elexander Harris Elexander Harris 5'11" | PG Arsenal Tech | 2026 State IN contributed 15 points for the Titans as well.
Fishers defeated Noblesville 66-59 in a big time Hoosier Crossroads Conference matchup that could be a preview of Sectional 8 as well. The Tigers brought home the win in a battle between two Top 10 teams as Keenan Garner Keenan Garner 6'6" | PF Fishers | 2024 State IN scored 22 points to lead the way. Junior guard JonAnthony Hall JonAnthony Hall 6'1" | PG Fishers | 2025 State IN chipped in 16 points for Fishers. Meanwhile, senior guard Aaron Fine Aaron Fine 6'3" | PG Noblesville | 2024 State IN finished with a game-high 26 points in the loss for the Millers.
Up north, Valparaiso came out on top against East Chicago Central 71-65. Jack Smiley Jack Smiley 6'2" | PG Valparaiso | 2025 State IN and Dominique Murphy Jr Dominique Murphy Jr 6'5" | SG East Chicago Central | 2025 State #242 Nation IN ., two of the top prospects in Indiana’s Class of 2025, battled it out blow-for-blow in this one but Smiley and the Vikings ultimately came out on top. He finished with 26 points, 6 rebounds, and 8 assists. Murphy also scored 26 points to go with 8 rebounds for East Chicago Central.
Congratulations to junior forward Gavin Betten Gavin Betten 6'7" | PF Manchester | 2025 State IN who surprised the 1,000 point milestone for Manchester High School on Friday night. The 6’6″ forward went for 26 points as the Squires defeated Wawasee.
Matthew Mulligan Matthew Mulligan 6'4" | SG Columbia City | 2024 IN put up 22 points in a 60-46 win for Columbia City over Fort Wayne Canterbury. Devon Lewis Devon Lewis 5'10" | PG Canterbury | 2024 State IN also had 22 points in the loss.
Fort Wayne North Side defeated DeKalb 70-57 on the back of 20 points and 10 rebounds from senior guard Eugene Young Jr.
P.J. Douglas P.J. Douglas 6'4" | SF Jeffersonville | 2025 State IN scored 15 points while Jeremy Rose Jeremy Rose 6'1" | SG Jeffersonville | 2024 State IN and Tre Singleton Tre Singleton 6'7" | PF Jeffersonville | 2025 State #225 Nation IN each added 13 points in a balanced scoring affair for Jeffersonville. The Red Devils took down Evansville North 57-47.
Shane Sims Jr. scored 22 points while twin towers Malachi McNair Malachi McNair 6'6" | C Evansville Harrison | 2024 State IN and Brooks Thomas Brooks Thomas 6'7" | C Evansville Harrison | 2025 State IN dominated inside as Evansville Harrison rolled to an 84-58 win over New Albany.
Freshman Trell Hogue Trell Hogue 6'1" | SG Snider | 2027 IN scored a team-leading 17 points as Fort Wayne Snider defeated Fort Wayne South Side 60-55.
Cathedral moved to 3-0 on the season with a convincing 79-63 win over Brebeuf Jesuit. Sophomore wing Keaton Aldridge Jr Keaton Aldridge Jr 6'4" | SF Cathedral | 2026 State IN . scored 24 points to go with 14 rebounds while 6’8″ junior wing Brady Koehler Brady Koehler 6'9" | SF Cathedral | 2025 State #199 Nation IN continued his strong start to the season with 23 points and 8 rebounds.
Karson Rogers Karson Rogers 6'6" | PF Kokomo | 2024 State IN went off for 26 points and 15 rebound as Kokomo defeated Peru 72-45. Abdul Mitchell Abdul Mitchell 6'5" | PF Evansville Bosse | 2024 State IN added 18 points and 12 rebounds while Kansas signee Flory Bidunga Flory Bidunga 6'9" | C Kokomo | 2024 State #7 Nation IN chipped in 12 points and 9 rebounds. Matthew Roettger Matthew Roettger 6'2" | SG Peru | 2024 State IN had 15 points and 6 rebounds in the loss for Peru.
New Palestine handled Eastern Hancock 71-47 with junior guard Julius Gizzi going for 24 points and 11 rebounds while classmate Ben Slagley Ben Slagley 6'3" | PF New Palestine | 2025 State IN added 19 points.
Class 2A #1 Brownstown Central defeated Seymour 65-51 on the back of 32 points from Purdue signee Jack Benter Jack Benter 6'4" | SG Brownstown Central | 2024 State #121 Nation IN .
Westfield used a 17-0 run to start the second half to pull away from Zionsville and win 59-40. The Shamrocks were led by Nic Book Nic Book 6'8" | PF Westfield | 2024 State IN with 12 points while Charles Farrell Charles Farrell 6'2" | PG Westfield | 2024 State IN and Will Harvey Will Harvey 5'9" | PG Westfield | 2025 IN added 11 points and Trey Buchanan Trey Buchanan 6'0" | PG Westfield | 2024 State IN and Durante Mortan each finished with 10 points. It was a well-balanced affair for Westfield in their win over Hoosier Crossroads Conference and Sectional 8 rival Zionsville. Maguire Mitchell Maguire Mitchell 6'5" | SG Zionsville | 2025 State IN led all scorers with 22 points in the loss.
Pike rolled to a 74-49 win over Indianapolis Metropolitan. Titus Hunter Titus Hunter 6'5" | PF Pike | 2025 State IN scored 12 points while Damon Howard Damon Howard 6'1" | PG Pike | 2025 State IN and Dezhon Hall Dezhon Hall 6'3" | PG Pike | 2026 State IN finished with 11 and 10 points respectively in the win.

South Bend Riley held on to defeat Mishawaka Marian 52-48 in an exciting game. Junior guard Marvin Schindler Marvin Schindler 5'9" | PG South Bend Riley | 2025 State IN scored 11 of his team-leading 18 points in the fourth quarter. Paxan Sullivan Paxan Sullivan 6'0" | PG Mishawaka Marian | 2025 IN led all scorers with 19 points in the loss.
