The Kokomo Wildkats have been knocking on the door of a state championship the last two seasons. In 2021 they advanced to the Class 4A Semi-State and last season they made it to Gainbridge Fieldhouse before falling to undefeated Ben Davis. If they are to get over the hump this season, the addition of Abdul Mitchell Abdul Mitchell 6'5" | PF Evansville Bosse | 2024 State IN will be a big reason why. The 6’5″ forward transferred in from Ownesboro (KY) and looks like an immediate impact guy from his performances at the Metro Indy Fall League. Mitchell scored 25 points in a game I watched on Sunday afternoon dominating with his physical and athletic tools around the basket.

EG10 had a balanced attack and looked very impressive on Friday afternoon. Mitchell was a standout due to his balanced offensive attack by making trail 3-pointers, corner jumpers, second chance points around the rim and touch shots in the paint. With his diverse scoring output, he was tough to stop on Friday.
