Delancy may be the best scorer in the class. He’s a three level shot maker whose handle creates separation. Scores in bunches and distributes as defenses collapse on him. He has deep shooting range and a crafty finishing package. Navigates traffic and controls the offense like he’s one of the oldest players on the court.
When rankings debut after the season, Barnes will have a case to be its highest rated point guard. Blessed with elite pace, next-level shiftiness, and puts pressure on the rim. He’s a dangerous downhill attacker who can open up passing lanes for teammates or take it to the rack. He’s a tough-nosed guard who’s IQ helps him on both ends of the floor.

Daughtry is one of the best lead guards this class has to offer. He controls the game with his pace and vision. He operates the pick and roll while having the shotmaking to force the defense to over screens. Heady beyond his years. Can lead a team. Had a pair of explosive scoring nights against nationally rated guards.
Highlights
Grimsley is one of the best ball handlers in this class. His flashy dribbling can break down defenders and help him get where he wants on the floor. The six-foot guard is a developing shooter whose range has increased over the summer. Balances off ball and on ball duties with production in both scenarios.
Fuentes is a high-energy combo guard that competes on both ends of the floor. Offensively, he’s a shifty lead guard who can break down his man and get into the lane. On defense, he pesters ball handlers with constant pressure and uses his speed to attack passing lanes. Between his craftiness on offense and his defensive intensity, it’s no surprise D1s are showing interest and offering him and his brother Mason.
Britt never lacks for confidence when the ball is in his hands. The stocky 6’1 combo guard acts as a spark plug scorer for The Villages. He’s had his growing pains throughout the first half of the season, but all the tools for a scoring guard are there. He has a handle that creates scoring opportunities in isolation, can shoot off the dribble, and works screens to find the best scoring angles.
Alberich is making a claim for the best shooter in the state in his first season. He’s shooting 48% from three on 42 attempts through seven games. The 2027 prospect can lace the net off the dribble or the catch. At 6’3, he has the size to switch between either guard position but is a rare off ball shooting talent to start his career.
