Eric Wallace | Prep Hoops Scout
Many of the high major coaches in attendance this weekend were there to evaluate Fuentes, and the talented lead guard delivered while helping All Ball to a winning weekend in Baltimore. Fuentes showcased outstanding vision and passing ability, consistently creating quality opportunities for teammates while effectively using ball screens to generate offense for himself or others. A strong, athletic, attacking point guard, he plays with a high basketball IQ and excellent command of the game. In addition to his offensive playmaking ability, Fuentes also stood out defensively with his toughness, competitiveness, and ability to impact the game on that end of the floor.

One of the best shooters in Florida’s 2027 class, Fuentes lands at No. 7. His ability to move without the ball and knock down shots at a high clip makes him a constant scoring threat. Beyond his shooting, he’s a strong three-level scorer who can put the ball on the floor and make plays when needed. Fuentes also understands how to play within a winning system, having been a key piece in the Bulldogs’ success.

Fuentes may be one of the top sophomore guards in the state. He has a strong frame and is a three level scorer. Fuentes can also distribute the ball well if needed as a secondary passer. His movement off ball allows him to frequently find spaces on the floor for open looks that he knocks down at a high clip. He is also a player who has only known winning with this Bulldogs program and will bring that culture and mentality moving forward for his remaining years.

is an electric yet smooth game. He plays at a fast pace on both ends of the floor, opening up tons of room for playmaking in both ends. He’s a stout defender who takes calculated risks to force turnovers. On the offensive end balances scoring and getting others involved based on the flow of the game. He doesn’t force plays, but his pace naturally adds possessions to the game. Plays with a high IQ and is battle tested after years of playing up an age group in international and high school.

The 6-1 freshman guard is your traditional point guard where he can facilitate for his teammates, as well as get buckets of his own. Offensively, Fuentes is a pure three-level scorer who can make the opposition pay if he’s left uncovered. Defensively, Fuentes is an absolute pest when it comes to guarding the ball as he is constantly applying pressure forcing the opposition into making a mistake. Fuentes has already received offers from Albany, Radford, and Stetson University.

The 6-1 freshman guard has played a big role for Riviera Prep this season where he shoots the ball exceptionally well from the perimeter. Fuentes is also very productive when he plays off the ball as well where he gets to his open spots as well as an above-average rebounder for his size. He and his older brother Mason are a tough tandem in the backcourt as their ceilings continue to rise. Fuentes is also an efficient passer when it comes to finding open teammates whether it’s on the swing pass or slashing towards the basket.
