One of the state’s top guards in a talented 2028 recruiting class, Gelin had an impressive summer with Nightrydas Elite, averaging 16 points per game. He is a strong, high IQ combo guard with above average athleticism and the ability to impact the game as both a scorer and facilitator. Gelin is a reliable perimeter shot maker with range beyond the arc and does a good job reading the defense and finding open teammates. His combination of strength, skill and feel makes him one of the more complete backcourt prospects in the class.

Gelin is a playmaking combo guard who led the Nightrydas in assists at EYBL Session I. He has good strength and a high basketball IQ, making sound reads and consistently finding open teammates. A solid shot maker with range, he can score when needed, and while his foot speed is average, he compensates with above average athleticism and overall feel for the game.

Another talented sophomore, Gelin is a combo guard with strength and a high basketball IQ. He is a solid shot maker with range and also has above average athleticism. He is comfortable playing on the ball or off the ball at the offensive end and has the playmaking ability to create offensive opportunities for teammates.

The freshman showed poise throughout the game on both ends of the floor, able to knock down shots as well as play high level defense as a youngster. His offensive game shows and understanding beyond his years. Making solid reads and knowing when to react and swing the ball, or attack the rim, Gelin was doing a little bit of everything for the Lions squad. Though they did not come out of this one victorious, the team should be poised for a long run this season when everyone is healthy.
