<p>This past Sunday a number of junior and senior prospects came together to compete at the Prep Hoops Expo at Seminole Sports Academy in Longwood, FL. A lot of great basketball was played, and a number of prospects saw their stock rise with their performances. Let's now take a closer look at some of the players who stood out.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">The rising junior, Wright, made quite an impact on both sides of the ball throughout the event. He plays with a great motor, and had no hesitation diving on the floor for loose balls. He has good size and strength and rebounds the ball very well on both ends of the court. At 6'2" Wright is capable of guarding the bigs down low, but can also stick with the smaller quicker guards. He is solid around the hoop, and counters that with a nice smooth shot from the mid-range.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Lazaridis effects the game in a number of ways both offensively and defensively. He has good size and great length, and does a great job of keeping his hands up in the passing lanes. He does an excellent job running the floor and can score on all 3 levels. He looks to attack the basket where has the ability to play above the rim, and is also very effective from behind the arc.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Shelton has great size and strength, making him capable of guarding any position on the court. He positions himself well on the floor and was a force on the boards throughout the day. Offensively, he is very effective in the post but also has a nice stroke from the outside, where he gets tremendous rotation on his shot. He has an excellent mid-range game, but can also knock down the three ball at a high rate, allowing him to space the floor.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">The transfer from Sagemont, Gelin, proved to be one of the more well rounded prospects from the Expo. He has excellent handles and is very efficient attacking the basket, where he has the ability to finish through contact. The 6'4" SG is a smart player with a terrific mid-range game, and is always scanning the court looking for the open man. Gelin has great strength for a prospect his age, and is an exceptional two-player who just wants to win.</p>

He is a 3-point sniper with unlimited range, and when he gets hot can be deadly from behind the arc. He has a great basketball IQ and dribbles with a purpose, either creating a shot for himself or freeing up space for a teammate. Lagrone is a solid defender who won't back down from an assignment, and also rebounds the ball very well from the guard position.</p>
