Worthington Christian

[player_tooltip player_id='1222350' first='Sam' last='Johnson'] is set to have a huge senior season as the Cedarville commit has been getting busy in his scrimmages already. [player_tooltip player_id='1503896' first='Jonah' last='Lewis'] is a big time shot maker and Worthington Christian should have some other complimentary pieces surrounding these senior studs that will make them one of the best small school programs in central Ohio.

Columbus Africentric

Losing Dailyn Swain to graduation is a big blow as the Xavier Musketeer was one of the top players in Ohio each of the past two seasons when he led the Nubians to the final four. [player_tooltip player_id='1222355' first='Cortez' last='Freeman'] is now the lead guard and will be looked upon to lead with his experience and defensive ability. Look for some other younger players to step up when given the opportunity left by the graduated seniors.

Toledo Emmanuel Christian

One of the most talented teams in the state last season saw a lot of turnover this off-season but return [player_tooltip player_id='1290033' first='Jalen' last='C Brown'], [player_tooltip player_id='1705961' first='Nate' last='Miles'] and have talented freshman hungry for an opportunity. With the TAAC having some top small school talent in NW Ohio, they'll be battle tested heading into the playoffs.

Oregon Cardinal Stritch

Another TAAC member, four of their teams found their way into our preseason top 10 or watchlist for their respective divisions. [player_tooltip player_id='1605209' first='Tommie' last='Taylor'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1453843' first='Owen' last='Yost'] are one of the better senior guard duos in Division III and Cardinal Stritch always pushes the pace offensively.

Margaretta

[player_tooltip player_id='1827697' first='Julian' last='Washington'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1950589' first='Judah' last='Keller'] are both a year older as this 2026 duo is ready to take the Sandusky Bay Conference by storm this winter. I expect the Polar Bears to be one of the most improved teams in Ohio with the growth these two have shown from freshman to sophomores over the summer.

Lake Catholic

A deep playoff run a returning a nice core, Lake Catholic once again is a team to watch this season. [player_tooltip player_id='1952005' first='Cross' last='Nimmo'] is a big time football prospect but also a tough cover on the block on the hardwood. Peyton Budrys Rini is another returner who is set for a big season on the Cougars.
