At 6’2 Kargie has what appears to be a very long wingspan at his size, and he was putting it to use on both ends of the floor. Had no problem sitting deep in a stance to defend against guards, and used his long arms to poke the ball free and get out for a transition dunk on one occasion. Also slid in for a big swat at the rim for another highlight play. Offensively he’s at his best attacking the basket as he can cover so much ground with limited dribbles. Soft touch off the glass and impressive body control to finish through contact. 2026 prospect to keep an eye on moving forward.
Highlights
At 6’9 Roan’s potential is clear to see. But what puts him over the edge is his coordination and how well he moves at that size. We’re already seeing some skill start to emerge with his comfort handling the ball, as at times he was playing a point-forward role for his team. Showcased improved footwork out of the post from a year ago including a quick spin move into a right-handed hook shot in the lane. His combination of size, mobility, and touch around the basket make him one to keep a close eye on in the 2026 class.
Another player in the 2026 class who’s really just starting to scratch the surface of his potential is Silas Bolton Silas Bolton 6’4″ | SF Indian Trail Academy | 2026 WI . He’s a long and lanky wing prospect with some bounce around the basket. One thing I like about him is he doesn’t shy away from a challenge on defense. He’s shown the willingness to defend an opposing team’s best player and give them everything he has on that end of the floor. Willing rebounder, athletic finisher, and solid shooter from the perimeter.
Keegan is one of those players who has the ability to change a game in an instant with his scoring ability. He showed that in the game I watched as in the second half he went on a streak of 3 or 4 straight makes all on jumpers. It didn’t matter if it was well beyond the arc or from the mid-range, his shot just couldn’t miss. Keegan has the ability to hit shots off the catch, but if he has his defender in an isolation setting he excels at creating space off of limited dribbles. Knows when to play within the flow of the offense, but also recognizes when his team needs him to take over.
I was unfamiliar with Isaiah coming into the weekend, but he flashed some intriguing upset. At 6’5 he showed some comfort handling the ball, and has a little bit of wiggle to beat smaller defenders off the bounce. Showcased a nice hesitation move to freeze his man before blowing by to the rim. Once in the paint he has the ability to elevate off one or two feet, and utilize his long arms to finish right at the basket. Could be in store for a breakout season at South Milwaukee this winter.
Israel is a bit of a late bloomer in the 2024 class, but looks set to play a key role at Kenosha Indian Trail as a senior. He started off the afternoon hot taking the opening tip and going all the way in for a lay-up. In the moments after he tied up his man to force a jump ball, and then slid in from help-side position for a steal. Also knocked down a pull-up jumper from three in the first few minutes. Througout the game he continued to play tough defense both against wings and forwards, showcasing his versatility on that side of the ball. Was a force in transition as well with his above-the-rim finishing and control to score with touch in traffic.
