He showed some defensive versatility as well, able to move his feet out on the wing or stand his ground on the block against taller forwards. He did a nice job of utilizing his length at 6'2 to force some misses around the rim without fouling. The Sun Prairie East guard was constantly looking to get his teammates involved, and was a big time threat in transition. He could fly up the floor after a steal or rebound, always with his eyes up looking for an open man. If the lane was there he could get all the way to the rim to finish, but if a defender slid in Taylor could quickly recognize where the open man was. The 2029 guard never takes a possession off, constantly pressuring the ball, battling for rebounds, or sprinting for loose balls. On the offensive end he kept a handful of possessions alive with his efforts on the glass, able to rise up and tip the ball out to one of his teammates. When defending him on a screen, you have to make sure to go over, or he'll make you pay. In the first half Ayden utilized a screen out on the wing, saw his man go under, and quickly pulled up to put three points on the board. Powers always seemed to be under control, not afraid to come to a jump stop or utilize a retreat dribble to get out of a dangerous situation. The Sussex Hamilton wing sprinted the floor after a defensive stop, beating everyone to the rim for an easy two points, before sprinting back the other way and picking off a pass. Catch-and-shoot threat who connects at a high percentage from beyond the arc. Should develop into a key player at Sussex Hamilton over the next three seasons. At 6'4 he has a blend of power and skill that allows him to play out on the wing or as a power forward. Fowlkes showcased the best mid-range game I saw all weekend, only needing a bit of space to get off his shot with his unique release point. During his second game of the day Bentley caught fire hitting pull-up jumper after jumper, most coming with a hand right in his face.
