At the start of the second half he took a defensive rebound and then flew by a number of defenders as he went coast-to-coast to get to the rim. Shortly after he once again got out in transition for a left handed lay-up. Part of a nice group of young players at Kenosha ITA who will have to step up after losing their leading scorer to graduation.

Bentley checked into the game off the bench and immediately made an impact with his off ball movement. About a minute after subbing in, Bentley beat his man with a hard backdoor cut to open up a wide open lay-up at the rim. That was followed up shortly after by another lay-up in transition. Quick guard who plays with a lot of energy on both ends of the floor. High effort player who was also able to pick-up a couple of put-back buckets by crashing the offensive glass.

Paxton provided an extra ball handling option for Team 8. When the opposing defense looked to press, Paxton was able to dribble out of tough spots while also keeping his head up looking for opportunities to advance with a pass.

Evan made a number of impact plays on the defensive end. Upon checking in his help-side position allowed him to slide in and force a miss on a lay-up. A couple minutes later he once again slid in from the help-side and swatted a shot right at the rim. Unselfish guard who never let the ball stick in his hands on the offensive end.

Jacob is an unselfish point guard who was constantly looking to get his teammates involved. He excelled out in transition where he could push the pace and dish off well timed passes to teammates. Took a defensive rebound and dribbled the length of the floor before kicking it out to an open shooter in the corner. Less than a minute later Jacob drained a three of his own from the top of the key after his defender overcommitted up the passing lane. Jacob plays with impressive change of speed for a young guard. He displayed some of the best vision at the event as he dished out a number of assists throughout the game.

Blake is a really composed guard who plays with a maturity beyond his years. Almost has a bit of that "old man" style of play where he looks like he's playing slowed down, but simply reads the floor better than anyone else to make plays. Never looked sped up under pressure, showed he can finish with either hand inside, and made smart decisions with the ball. He already saw some varsity minutes as a freshman last season at Hortonville, and should be in for even bigger things as a sophomore.

Nolan is a tough wing defender who faced a tough assignment against a 6'6 forward, but did a nice job of getting his length up to contest and force some difficult looks. The lefty wing also proved to be a catch-and-shoot threat out beyond the arc. Just a couple minutes into the game Nolan sprinted the floor in transition, popped out to the corner, and drained a three.

It didn't take long for Dumont to get going in Team 8's final game of the day. The lefty guard out of Neenah stepped up and drained a three from the wing like it was a simply training session. Big time threat in transition as he has the strength to play through contact and the touch to finish with either hand. He should develop into a key player at Neenah over the next three seasons.
