Bentley was one of the best pure scorers I saw at the event. At 6’4 he has a blend of power and skill that allows him to play out on the wing or as a power forward. Fowlkes showcased the best mid-range game I saw all weekend, only needing a bit of space to get off his shot with his unique release point. During his second game of the day Bentley caught fire hitting pull-up jumper after jumper, most coming with a hand right in his face. Part of a promising group of underclassmen at Milwaukee Academy of Science.

Every time Fowlkes takes the floor, his growth as a point guard is evident. The MAS guard displayed impressive decision-making, combining great shot selection with proactive playmaking. Utilizing his size and floor vision, he operated with poise out of pick-and-roll sets, keeping the ball secure while reading the defense. Fowlkes was particularly dangerous in transition, dropping on-time, on-target passes to trailing bigs and cutting wings all day.

He looked comfortable as a shooting guard and showed confidence playing off the ball. Fowlkes has the type of scoring tools that can continue to grow as he gets stronger and more consistent.

Bentley took over during portions of a blowout Saturday afternoon win, as he is an elite shot creator. He had a very tough pull-up three-pointer to end the half for his team, being a major threat from deep. He has a strong 6’4” frame which he used to attack the basket, fighting through contact and going up strong every time with either hand. Fowlkes was also great when getting to a pull-up mid-range jumper, being a true three-level scorer.

Fowlkes is an intruiging prospect that is heading to Pius XI this winter. Over the course of camp he showed off his ability to score it on all three levels of the floor. Smaller guards had issues with his strength and bigger matchups had issues staying in front. His shot selection and discernment when looking to make a play was impressive. His tight handle and smooth jumpshot was on display for team 4.

Fowlkes was versatile for team 1. He proved to be a willing facilitator at the wing position. He was a mismatch problem for smaller guards. He used his body well when looking to attack and make plays for himself and others.
