I only got to see about half of one of Michael’s games, but that’s all it took for him to make an impression. His explosiveness and first step is just on another level compared to most players his age. Michael could catch the ball out on the perimeter, and in the blink of an eye he’d blow past his defender and get to the rim. One of those drives resulted in an explosive one handed dunk that caught me off guard. Impressive handle and change of direction in a young guard.

The son of former New Berlin Eisenhower 1,000-point scorer and UW-Stevens Point wing David Grzesk and the nephew of current St. Norbert College coach Gary Grzesk, Michael Grzesk Michael Grzesk 6'1" | CG Milwaukee Academy of Science | 2030 WI was a key performer for the ultra-talented Kevon Loony Power 5 squad this past club season. He has an outstanding feel for the game, is smooth with the ball and defends with his quickness and length. He figures to be a staple in the Milwaukee Academy of Science lineup the next four years.

Michael Grzesk Michael Grzesk 6'1" | CG Milwaukee Academy of Science | 2030 WI is a six-foot 2030 guard from Wisconsin with a very quick perimeter shooting release. Grazesk can get his own shot with a quick first-step and has some pretty good dribble combos. Spotted up and on the move, Grzesk seems like a very good outside shooter. In June Grzesk displayed the ability to make a number of 3-pointers hitting four while scoring 17 points in a 60-34 win while also collecting 7 rebounds. 

Grzesk embraced his role as a floor spacer and proved to be a valuable weapon for Team 1. His shot readiness and ability to find open space fit perfectly in drive-and-kick situations, keeping defenders honest. Once he saw a couple fall, he heated up quickly, providing consistent perimeter scoring. His activity sprinting off screens and filling lanes in transition highlighted his work rate and offensive instincts.
