About Charlie

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I'm a combo guard with a strong mindset, i shoot the ball A lot and Im really aggressive when attacking the rim, I adapt to the game whether that means creating my own shot or finding the open man and feeding him.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I'm someone who's lifts others up when they're down, I'm a Win now type of player, I bring energy and leadership to make sure my team never stays down for long, I stay locked in and I will do what ever it takes to keep winning and pushing forwards.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I played for SJ3 elite and helped with ABC young lions, I based my whole entire life on the game of basketball so I will help out any team that's not my Official AAU team .I stay active when Im not even playing too.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I've always worked to become a leader on and off the court, I stay after practice to get extra shots up and encourage my teammates to do the same, I also help out with unified basketball at my school, supporting players with disabilities making sure not only me but many others enjoy the game of basketball.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I've faced a injury on my left shoulder, but like before I never let that effect me or my team, I always put my team first never second, even when I'm hurt I never let that effect me.

What type of college are you looking for?

I'm looking for a college with a very good basketball program, state of the art facilities, and a good academic environment I want to be in a good place as a player and student where I can grow, as if in what divisions would I prefer I would want to play for a D1,D2,HBCU, I believe they have everything I would need to grow as a player.

A very good athlete who has a bright future at Brookfield Central, Jenkins competes with good basketball instincts. Like a lot of ninth graders, Jenkins is a bit raw in some aspects of the game, but he can evolve into a really good player for the Lancers with hard work and skill development. His athleticism and feel for the game are already advanced for his age. A wing prospect to keep an eye on over the next few seasons.
