The 20th annual installment of the event brought together around 200 prospects form 13 different states and featured two of California’s best sophomores. Below we break down some of the top performers from the 2026 class.
Aaron Banks Aaron Banks 6'2" | CG Artesia | 2024 State CA-S , 2026, Prolific Prep
Banks’ best traits are his basketball IQ and vision when surveying the floor in transition. The 6-foot point guard is a good decision-maker in the open court, always looks to make the right play and delivers passes on-time and on-target to his teammates. Banks uses his long, wiry wingspan to impact the defensive side of the ball with containing his assignment and playing passing lanes for deflections and steals.
Aiden Rollins Aiden Rollins 6'2" | SG Franklin | 2026 State CA-N , 2026, Franklin
Rollins is an active and athletic defender whose ability to pressure the ball and create turnovers turns into easy transition offense. At 6-feet-3 with length and a good pop of athleticism, Rollins’ gets up and down the floor with efficiency and is an aggressive downhill driver and attacker of the basket. Rollins is also a quick and shifty ball handler in the half-court setting whose explosive first step allows him to get by defenders and into the lane.
Gavin Dean-Moss Gavin Dean-Moss 6'1" | PG St. John Bosco | 2026 CA-S , 2026, St. John Bosco
Dean-Moss is a super smart and crafty point guard whose unselfishness and willingness to empower teammates stands out in this setting. The 6-footer is a pass-first style of player who can also score when he wants to. Dean-Moss is a high IQ creator out of ball screens – he’s sets up the defender to get screened, comes off surveying the floor and looks to make the right play based on how the defense is playing.
Kingston Whitty, 2026, Lovett School (GA)
I liked Whitty’s ability to impact the game in a variety of ways. The 6-footer knocked down the catch and shoot three-ball with consistency, showed a balanced mid-range pull-up jumper but also created for teammates in transition and half-court offense. Whitty was a hard-nosed perimeter defender with the lateral speed and defensive IQ to contain guards on the perimeter and did a nice job speeding up ball handlers.
Owen Augunas, 2026, Wesleyan Christian (NC)
Augunas caught fire from three-point range in his night game and, at one point, knocked down four in a row on four straight possessions. The Los Angeles-native who plays his high school ball in North Carolina has fundamental shooting mechanics, a quick release, and deep and multi-spot range from distance.
