Tre Boswell – Scotts Bluff – Colorado Collective – 2027
Boswell brought value on both ends of the floor as a complementary guard to Collective’s productive weekend. The 5’11 guard was sturdy, proving to be strong enough to take bumps from bigger guards while maintaining an impactful defensive position. Offensively, Boswell possesses a quick first step, dependable getting downhill off of that initial step. If left open, he knocked down multiple threes through the weekend, mainly coming off the catch.
Zavion Hite – Blue Springs North – Mokan 2026-2 – 2027
Hite was highly impactful on either end of the floor, although he made eye opening plays on the defensive side of the floor. Clearly an athletic talent, the 6′ guard made a strong case for the best perimeter defender at the event. Notching multiple blocks and steals in his first game at the event, Hite came ready to compete. He was wiry, strong versus any opponent, while staying mobile laterally. Throughout the two games I caught, Hite grabbed at least seven rebounds in each of those, primarily generated on the defensive end. On the opposite end, he was proactive pushing the pace in transition, doing well to get a full head of steam going to the rack.
Duane Donlin – Discovery Canyon – 7070 Athletics – 2026
Donlin embraced the fundamentals with every possession, utilizing jump stops and smart reads to be highly impactful. The guard possesses a fundamentally sound jump shot, effective off the catch or when stepping into his mid-range pull-up. Donlin was always a step ahead of the defense, making smart reads for extra passes off of drives. While around the rim, Donlin showed exceptional touch on layups, making a few circus shots leading to and-1 opportunities.
Joseph Haubert Joseph Haubert 5'11" | PG Regis Jesuit | 2026 CO – Regis Jesuit – Elevation Flyers 15U – 2026
Haubert was excellent as a facilitator and off-ball cutter, making winning plays whenever possible. What stood out immediately was the guard’s off-ball movement, timing backdoor cutters effectively for drives to score or facilitate. Haubert kept his eyes up at all times, constantly surveying the floor to make the right decision. The guard was equally effective as a shooter, flowing into shots off the catch, having no trouble relocating quickly.
Lowry Kirkland Lowry Kirkland 5'9" | PG Pueblo County | 2026 State CO – Pueblo County – P-Town Elite – 2026
Hailing from Southern Colorado, Kirkland was a well rounded lead guard who proved effective as a low turnover facilitator. The incoming sophomore guard was excellent making passing reads off the bounce. Often following drives on the dump off to baseline cutters and perimeter shooters, Kirkland possesses excellent timing. While off the ball, the guard was consistent knocking down jumpers off the catch, capable of flowing into those shots from off-ball movement. At roughly 5’10, Kirkland brought a high IQ on either end of the floor, proving capable of defending opposing guards. His ability to read the opponent before denying the passing lane made him incredibly effective on the ball. Bright future ahead for the Pueblo prospect.
