Right now, it’s a two-man race for the top spot with Tj Crumble and Marcus Johnson Marcus Johnson 6'1" | PG Garfield Heights | 2026 State OH establishing themselves on a national level. Both players are ranked on ESPN, the only website with national 2026 rankings at the moment. Both have numerous high major offers and were productive in the 15 U division of Peach Jam this July. The three through eight spots are very close with lots of talent. Alex Smith Alex Smith 6'8" | PF Upper Arlington | 2026 State OH rises to three after a strong summer with Upper Arlington and Midwest Basketball Club 3SSB 15 U. Nate Miles Nate Miles 6'5" | SF Toledo Emmanuel Christian | 2026 State OH is at number four after an impressive showing at peach jam playing next to seventh ranked Brayden Fogle Brayden Fogle 6'5" | SF Lexington | 2026 State OH . Sharp shooting Anthony Thompson Anthony Thompson 6'7" | SF Lebanon | 2026 State OH is at number five after his Indiana Elite 15 U squad made the 3SSB finals championship. Sixth is King Kendrick King Kendrick 5'10" | PG Northland | 2026 State OH who had some impressive games as well in Rock Hill at the 3SSB finals. Finally at number eight is Sam Greer Sam Greer 6'8" | C Archbishop Hoban | 2026 State OH , the multi-sport star for Archbishop Hoban who has Kent State and Akron basketball offers while also holding football offers from Michigan, Central Michigan, Purdue, Miami (FL), Florida and Ohio State.
Still a long way to go with evaluating the 2026 class as more stars will emerge in the coming years. We’ll have more content about the top players in this class we’ve already seen and continue to be on the lookout for top talent around the state.
