Greg Pieterek Greg Pieterek 5'10" | PG Evansville North | 2027 IN 5-10 Evansville North (IN) Most impressive performance I saw on the morning. Did it all from the point guard position for an Evansville Finest squad that went undefeated on the day. Set the tone by getting after it early defensively. Forcing multiple turnovers with quick hands and aggressiveness. Turned defense into offense quickly. Was a more than capable scorer, but was also an excellent passer. With excellent velocity and court vision. Made quick decisions in mid air that turned shots into open looks for teammates. Had a bounce and pop to his game that helped him play bigger than his listed height. Showed toughness by playing through a slight injury.
Maxwell Vise Maxwell Vise 6'6" Mt. Vernon (Fortville) | 2027 IN 6-6 Mount Vernon- Fortville (IN) Highly projectable post prospect with an excellent frame already. Wasn’t a statue in the paint. Moved well off the ball and fought for deep position on the block. Had a real nice lefty touch finish off an ATO late in his opening contest. Has obviously been well schooled. Begins with a pump fake on nearly every catch on the perimeter. Has a smooth and easy release from beyond the arc. Showed the ball handling ability bring the ball up the court when needed. Perhaps the highest upside of a prospect that I will see this weekend. There is a lot to work with here.
Riley McQueen Riley McQueen 6'0" | CG Moeller | 2027 OH 6-0 Cincinnati Moeller (OH) I’m sure he has heard all the “Lightning McQueen” jokes throughout his life. That being said, this Ohio point guard has some speed. Despite that plays with a mature sense of balance and pace. Got his All Heart squad out into transition quickly with both the dribble and the pass. In the half court operated like a veteran in pick and roll situations. Was able to hang in the air to both draw fouls and wait for open teammates.
LeAndre Marshall-Neal LeAndre Marshall-Neal 5'11" | PG St. Francis DeSales | 2027 OH St Frances De La Sales (OH) Not very big, but ran the point very well for an Mr22elite program that went undefeated on Saturday morning. Despite being a point moved intelligently off the ball to get open shots. Had good elevation on jump shot that made up for the slight stature. Also rebounded well from the point guard position. Competed hard defensively and forced crucial turnovers.
Gavin Harrington Gavin Harrington 6'4" | PF Big Walnut | 2027 OH 6-4 Big Walnut (OH) While Marshall-Neal was capably running the point. The lengthy Harrington was scoring at the rim. More of a slasher than a post. Harrington was patient and crafty around the basket. Showed good footwork and didn’t get sped up by pressure. Was a good passer out of the high post as well. The aforementioned length also made him a threat out in transition.
