Prep Hoops Florida scout Ross Van De Griek is spending the weekend in Atlanta checking out the talent on display across three events. On Friday morning he checked in on the Under Armour Association Finals from LakePoint Sports. Here is who stood out:
The 6-6 rising junior wing plays with an aggressive edge and displayed his elite 3-level scoring ability. Loer finished well around the rim and exploded for a game-high 28 points on 11-of-15 shooting from the field. Loer’s stock has continued to rise as the summer progresses and will be a viable difference maker playing multiple positions on the floor.
The 6-9 power forward took over the game for Team Thrill where he was finishing around the rim whether it was on fastbreaks or off the catch. Queen played multiple positions on the floor and used his size to an advantage where he can muscle his way on the boards. His dominant play on the interior will be a huge difference maker as he heads into his senior season.
Aidan Richard

The 6-7 wing brought a lot of toughness to his game as well as his elite shooting. Richard was a proven winner who brought great length and can impact the game in a variety of ways. He also plays with a high motor and is only continuing to get better. His versatility has also spoke volumes on the defensive end as he can defend multiple positions. Richard currently holds offers from Holy Cross, Incarnate Word and Texas A&M-Corpus Christi which will continue to grow.

The 6-1 rising freshman guard continues to make a name for himself and brought his pure perimeter shooting on display. Fuentes knocked down four 3-pointers in their loss to Philly Pride on Friday morning. His ability to create the offense and mature his game has also spoken volumes on how special Fuentes will be in the years to come. He takes great care of the basketball and doesn’t force up tough shots.
Stefan Frisby

The 6-2 rising sophomore guard was in full attack mode for SOH Elite despite the loss to Riverside Hawks. Frisby finished with a team-high 15 points but has the confidence to finish around the rim against bigger defenders. He played with great tempo and pace throughout the game as well as getting his teammates involved. A lot of promise looming for Frisby as he is quietly turning into one of our top ranked prospects in the Class of 2026.
The 5-10 guard was on full shooting display for Skills Center Elite in the win over Seattle Select. Tipton erupted for a game-high 20 points on 4-of-7 shooting from beyond the arc on Friday morning. Tipton has evolved his game into becoming multi-dimensional as he creates for his teammates as his pure passing skills have improved as well.
