The newest offer for the Dale standout comes from the east coast, as Villanova offered after a productive week in North Augusta, South Carolina. Forsythe’s offer list is as diverse as just about any recent prospect from Oklahoma. In state powers Oklahoma and Oklahoma State are of course in the mix, while Villanova joins California, Wake Forrest and programs such as Colorado State, Florida Gulf Coast, Loyola Chicago and more. Keep an eye on Wichita State as well, while Purdue has showed interested and Matt Painter watched Forysthe in person last week. Team Griffin closes out their schedule with a few games at TB5’s The Stage in Dallas. Also a standout in baseball, look for the Dale Pirate to continue to balance a busy schedule with official visits this fall.
After a strong end to his tournament in Houston, the Victory Christian forward will be looking to carry his momentum forward up north this weekend. This week, Mason added Buffalo and Oklahoma Baptist to his productive spring offers of Ohio, Portland State, Jacksonville State and more. Along with Tulsa Hawks teammates Chiante Tramble Chiante Tramble 6’2″ | PG Edmond North | 2024 State OK and Darian Grant Darian Grant 6’6″ | SF Moore | 2024 State OK , Mason should be a popular prospect to be watched by low to mid major coaches.
Oklahoma’s top 2025 prospect continued to collect high major offers by adding Missouri to his collection. The Tigers have successfully recruited Oklahoma recently, and the athletic, aggressive Young would seem to be a good fit for the Tigers’ up tempo style. Along with instate programs (Oklahoma and Oklahoma State), Arizona State, Kansas, Mississippi State, Mississippi, TCU and more big time programs have entered the picture for the complete guard. Who along with his dynamic driving and defending ability, has shot it very well for distance on the 3SSB circuit.
Arguably the most improved player in Oklahoma over the last few months, the athletic hybrid forward has been a monster for Putnam City West and Team Griffin this spring and summer. He showed the full array of his abilities by averaging 15 points a game (55.6% from three) and adding 10 blocks in 6 contests. While his jumper has looked better this spring, it’s the energy he plays on defense and improved finishing at the rim that has really elevated his profile. Schools have taken note as in June Oklahoma State, Iowa and Tulsa were among the offers. Oklahoma, East Carolina and Oral Roberts have now entered the picture. The ascending prospect will likely add to his offer list after this upcoming tournament.
Oklahoma’s Class of 2026 headliner continued to raise his national profile with a great week at the Peach Jam. He scored 31 points in one victory, while averaging 22 points and 40% from three over 5 games. Texas has officially entered the picture with a new offer. Montonati now has an unique opportunity to end the month. After winning gold with the USA Junior National team last month, he’ll take advantage of his dual nationality with a trip to Europe to play with the Italian Junior National Team.
It might be easier to list what mid major programs are NOT pursuing the unique workhorse from Edmond North. The new offers in the past week are San Jose State and Wyoming. Which join programs such as Wofford, Abilene Christian, Loyola Chicago, Cleveland State, Davidson, Indiana State and countless others in pursuit of the walking double double. Along with his ability to produce around the rim, Warlick is starting to gain confidence as a three pointer shooter and is a versatile defender.
