This week we will be providing who has the highest stock in the Class of 2026 and 2027. If you have a player who deserves to be recognized on this list please send @RossVDG14 a direct message on Twitter. Here is our third edition of stock risers for the Class of 2026:
The 5-11 point guard has shown he has great athleticism over the course of the summer as he can score in a variety of ways. Kirk displays a smooth touch and can get to the rim finishing on either side at a high level even if he’s going up against bigger defenders. Kirk also played a big role in Mainland’s run to the state championship game last season as a freshman so we can expect his game to continue to grow.
The 6-4 shooting guard has a smooth release and can knock down shots from anywhere within the half court. Caouette plays with a high IQ and displays great handles where he forces defenders into having a difficulty staying in front of him. He shined at the Under Armour Finals last weekend for Skills Center Elite with his high shooting percentage from beyond the arc and his ability to defend multiple positions. Expect an impact sophomore season for Caouette.
The 6-1 point guard has a smooth fundamental feel for the game as he can impact the game in a variety of ways. He averaged 6.2 points, 2.8 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game while shooting 46 percent from the field as a freshman last season for Riviera Prep. His shooting touch from beyond the arc is only going to get better as he is just gearing up for his sophomore season.
The 5-10 shooting guard is on the rise to be one of the top perimeter shooters for his class as he shot 41 percent from beyond the arc last season as a freshman. Fox plays with a ton of toughness and confidence as his game continues to mature. Look for an improved season for Fox as he is going into his sophomore season as he continues to evolve his game.
The 6-3 combo guard has recently reclassified from the Class of 2025 to 2026, but has a strong feel for the game where he can knock down shots at all three levels. Colyer can also contribute for his teammates whether he has the basketball in his hands or not as he is always setting up for his teammates to get better. Last season for Land O’Lakes, Colyer averaged 14.6 points and 6.0 rebounds per game as a sophomore. He will look to play a new role as he transitions into a new role with North Tampa Christian this upcoming season.
Highlights
The 6-7 small forward has all the tools to become a viable prospect as he brings a unique form to his game. Philon has the handles of a guard, but the size of a wing and can impact the game in a variety of ways. He plays both ends of the floor at a high level whether he is guarding on the ball or off as he displays great footwork and body placement. Philon also plays with a high IQ where you won’t see him force up a tough shot or make a bad decision with the basketball in his hands. Philon also currently holds an offer from South Florida.
