Eric Wallace | Prep Hoops Scout
The senior leader for the Storm overcame a slow start and finished strong with 12 points, knocking down several key shots down the stretch. A high-level shot maker, he has the ability to step up in important moments and provide timely scoring. He also brings strong defensive ability, consistently competing and making an impact on that end of the floor. An unsigned senior who can also serve as a secondary ball handler, he offers valuable versatility in the backcourt.

One of the state’s premier shooters was dialed in Friday night during the opening-game win over Coatesville (PA). The senior guard poured in 22 points, highlighted by six made three-pointers, and consistently stretched the defense with his shooting range. Fox shows excellent shot preparation and a quick, compact release, allowing him to get his jumper off under pressure and well beyond the arc. For college coaches in search of proven shot-making, Fox checks every box.

The sharp shooting senior did everything he could in a narrow loss to McCallie (TN) on Monday. Fox once again proved his value as a shot maker on his way to 22 points but also proved he could be a playmaker against the very talented team from Tennessee. Also a football player, the high academic prospect makes winning plays, is a willing defender and should make a college coaching staff very happy when he makes a commitment later this year.

The leading scorer for Head Coach Steve Fitzgerald, Fox is a strong, solid shooting guard who is averaging over 16 points per game for Victory Christian and led the way on Friday with 14 points in a loss to St. Thomas Aquinas. Also a football player, Fox knows how to play and is an asset at the defensive end of the floor. He makes winning plays and will likely find a future home soon at the collegiate level.

Fox continued to prove that he may be the best 3-point shooter in the entire state. He is tremendous with the catch and shoot, but can also create his own shot from deep. Fox has a simple, smooth stroke and shot 50% from behind the arc this past weekend.

Fox had a strong shooting night against Sagemont and will be a key factor on next season’s Storm team. Returning next year having made the State Championship and came home runner up will certainly add an extra bit of fight in his game to will his team to the mountaintop. Fox has such a quick trigger you need to play him right up in his face to make sure he doesn’t see daylight because if he does, and gets a good look at the basket, it’s going up and he’s a tough shot maker on top of it.
