The top three prospects in the 2026 rankings remain the same as Dionte Neal Dionte Neal 5'10" | PG Reidsville | 2026 State NC , Cole Cloer Cole Cloer 6'6" | SF Orange | 2026 State NC and Kendre Harrison Kendre Harrison 6'8" | C Reidsville | 2026 State NC remain at 1-3 respectively but after that, there’s a ton of movement inside the Top 10 as some new faces move up.
Rivers Knight Rivers Knight 6’9″ | PF Combine Academy | 2026 State NC moves into the No. 5 spot in the 2026 rankings, up from No. 7 in the latest update. He’s a stretch forward prospect that’s capable of operating inside and out given his length and shooting stroke on the perimeter. He holds HM offers already from Illinois, High Point and VCU.
Dane Cassada Dane Cassada 6’3″ | CG Calvary Day School | 2026 State NC is one of the biggest movers into the Top 10 at No. 6. He’s a name out of Calvary Day School to get to know given his development on the perimeter and as a rebounder on both ends of the floor. He’s expanded his game into much more than a shooter.
Chaise Smith Chaise Smith 6’2″ | PG Washington | 2026 State NC is an intriguing name with Team Curry UAA to keep eyes on on the grassroots scene. He’s an athletic floor general that’s coming into his own as a dominant prospect that can finish at the rim and push the pace with the ball in his hands. He’s a name for HM/MM programs to get to know in the state.

Ashton Pierce Ashton Pierce 6’3″ | SG North Mecklenburg | 2026 State NC is probably the biggest mover into the Top 10 of the 2026 Rankings out of North Mecklenburg High. He’s emerged as a top shooter on the EYBL stage in E15 with Team CP3 shooting 40.3 % from 3-point range on the circuit. He’s racking up offers already from the likes of High Point
Antonio McKoy Antonio McKoy 6’4″ | SF Harrells Christian | 2026 State NC is coming into his own out of Harrells Christian Academy in the 2026 class. It’s only a matter of time before he becomes more of a national name in the class given his ability to play at a high level on both ends of the floor.

Rassell Young Rassell Young 6’2″ | CG Mallard Creek | 2026 State NC remains steady at No. 10 given his body of work built in the spring. Ohio, College of Charleston, Hampton, East Carolina and Charlotte are the schools that have offered him so far. He’s an electric scoring guard with a knack for playmaking at a high level with Garner Road 3SSB.
