Cassada made quite the impression in his debut on the EYCL stage with Team CP3 . His shooting stroke was on full display by the final game of the weekend as he had his best outing with 16 points on 5-of-8 shooting from the field and 3-of-5 from behind the arc to close out the weekend. He managed to shoot 30 percent from deep on the weekend and showed he could still contribute as a playmaker and rebounder, finishing with 8.8 PPG, 2.0 RPG and 1.5 APG on 44.4 percent shooting from the field.

Cassada is part of the 1,000 point club as only a sophomore, and the 6’3 point guard is on track to be a star player when all is said and done. He’s upped his stats to 16 PPG and 5.1 APG this season, and continues to shoot the lights out from downtown. He’s a capable scorer at multiple levels due to his 6’3 frame that has plenty of size to go with it, as well as high IQ shot selection to go with it. He also continues to run the Calvary Day offense efficiently, and know when he needs to either score or find others.
