NCISAA Team Camp II – Friday Players/Teams to Watch

Check below for two of the top games of Friday, and some of the top performers taking part in the action.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Carmel Christian vs. The Burlington School</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>This is a titanic matchup between two defending state champions, and both teams have lots of star power to check out. [player_tooltip player_id='1127312' first='Jaeden' last='Mustaf'] is running the show as the leader and defensive presence of this team, but has a variety of supporting guys with him. [player_tooltip player_id='1338305' first='Michael' last='Marcus Jr']. is a powerful interior big who rebounds and patrols the paint with authority. [player_tooltip player_id='1742881' first='Sean' last='Birmingham'] has joined this group, and is a D1 name with a wings body in a 6'8 frame that can really score and make plays on offense. [player_tooltip player_id='1508752' first='Brett' last='Freeman'] will get a bump in usage as a big point guard that can thrive on and off the ball. To matchup, TBS trots out their leader and dynamic lead guard [player_tooltip player_id='1098355' first='Zion' last='Walker'], a true PG with a nose for getting to the rim. Ty Outlaw will play down low with great post touch and is able to play physical around the basket, and [player_tooltip player_id='1373705' first='Cam' last='Flippen'] is a lefty shooting that can play inside and out on the wing. [player_tooltip player_id='1131338' first='Kaden' last='Hammond'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1159133' first='Joshua' last='Randolph'] are also complementary pieces that sometimes get lost in the shuffle, but are impressive in their own right. However, the guy that we need eyes on now is 2027 <strong>King Gibson</strong>, one of the top names in his class for a long time. He's a strong, physical driver and finisher, and loves to facilitate for others when players help in on him. This should be a back and forth clash and I'll be interested to see who plays well.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>High Point Christian vs. Cary Academy</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>While not the biggest matchup of the weekend, these are two teams that should be on the rise. HPCA is led by 2026 wing [player_tooltip player_id='1931127' first='Jaiquan' last='Clay'], a super intense two way wing who is probably one of the best defender in his class. [player_tooltip player_id='1864069' first='Isaiah' last='Sanders'] is a smaller guard who should be getting college looks with college programs as a quick, shifty guard. For Cary Academy, [player_tooltip player_id='1076331' first='Wyatt' last='DeGraaf'] is a raw big with some serious physical tools that is beginning to attract high level looks from across the country. <strong>McCoy Williams</strong> is a guard who defends well and finishes nicely in the paint, and <strong>Champ Lando</strong> is a sort of tweener forward with a varied offensive skillset, where he's good at a little bit of everything. These guys should be an interesting conclusion on Friday night for people to check out.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
