About Joshua
Expert Analysis
Victor Taylor | Prep Hoops Scout
Randolph has been recovering from major knee surgery over the past year, and now that the calendar has flipped to 2024 he’s been making more of an impact. His best performance of the season came against national powerhouse Link Academy as he dropped 5 threes, as well as having 9 points against QEA in a four minute span to help them seal a big win. He’s a versatile 6’7 wing who’s development is a bit lagging from the injury, but is a coachable, winning player that works hard and shoots the ball extremely well for his size. He is in line for a successful post-grad year or an opportunity somewhere at the next level.

has the shape and size that enables him to be the big-time scoring threat he is. Randolph is a versatile offensive weapon that can operate inside and out because of his elite perimeter shot-making ability. He’s got a high, quick release that enables him to knock down contested, off-balance shots which otherwise look unmakeable. His three-point shooting adds another level of depth to his game that makes him a problem on the offensive end of the floor. Randolph uses his length to his advantage, highlighted by his elite shotmaking and rebounding ability. He is a jack of all trades. He takes on whatever role his team needs in any given game, quarter, and possession. He’s a well-versed, seasoned defender who is capable of matching up with 1-5 when need be. He embodies what it means to put the team first, and has an old-school, mature style of play that should attract the right coaches at the collegiate level.
Randolph produced 7.6 ppg in 2022-2023. And that was fine. He did exactly what his team needed him to do. But that was last season. In 2023-204, Randolph will need to elevate his game, specifically his ability to look more toward the basket when the ball is in his hand. He’s got the size, length, and shot-making ability to do it. Expect

. The 6’7″ wing is one of the most intriguing prospects in the entire class of 2024. What sets him apart is his ability to run the floor. He’s got the size and length of a true big and the athleticism and speed of a wing. Excels out in transition. Unselfish with the rock. Makes the right play at the right time. An additional piece to his game that should have the attention of college programs is his ability to shoot the ball, especially from three. Real smooth, good-looking shot. High release. Can let it fly off a screen or create something off the dribble. Expect

Throughout this past weekend at Boo Williams Sports Complex, Randolph did a phenomenal job of moving off ball and keeping himself open to receive passes for good looks at the basket. Randolph was continuously sneaking behind the defense in the half court to receive passes at the rim as well as filled the lanes perfectly in transition, he was rewarded for his efforts with an above the break three-pointer on one transition play which he confidently knocked with good-looking form.

is a big mover in the 2024 ranks following his performance with The Burlington School, moving into the Top 100 at the 94 spot in the latest rankings update. He’s a versatile prospect at 6-foot-6 that can operate inside and out given his length and ability to knock down shots on the perimeter. He produced 7.6 ppg, 3.6 rpg and 1.3 apg while knocking down 50 3-pointers in 2022-23. He uses his length well to space the floor with his shooting and rebounding ability. He’ll be one to watch this grassroots season on the EYBL scene with Boo Williams.
