Expert Analysis
Charles Clark | Prep Hoops Scout
Provided good offensive production for his squad early on, scoring 9 points in the first quarter, knocking down some outside shots to help his team get out to an early lead. He has the height, wingspan and scoring ability that makes him an intriguing prospect for colleges.

Durham made some big shots that helped keep TBS around in the first half, and his absence due to foul trouble was especially felt in the second half. He’s a capable perimeter shooter, and can also bring defenses in with his interior finishing and driving ability. I felt like he should be someone that ends up at the D2/D3 level and makes an impact next year. He’s got the offensive ability to make things happen.

Jordan Durham Jordan Durham 6'3" | CG The Burlington School | 2024 State NC is a guy I’ve watched play a lot of basketball this season. And it never gets old. Simply put, Durham is a gifted scorer. Has a smooth stroke. Real athletic finisher at the rim. Knows how to get to his spots. Although 2022-2023 did not entirely reflect his ability to score, do not underestimate the weapons this guy has in his arsenal. The moment you do, he’ll drop a smooth 20 and call it a day. Similarly to Walker, I’ve seen development with Durham’s three-point shot. As he becomes more comfortable taking threes off the dribble, his game will immediately elevate to the next level. He uses his frame to his advantage on both sides of the floor, especially on defense. At 6’3″, he can put really solid ball pressure on the opposing team’s guard. He’s also not afraid to get down and dirty underneath the rim, which is not something you can teach. Some guys have it, some guys don’t. Durham embodies what it means to be aggressive on the boards. With this Burlington School squad having to navigate 2023-2024 with a couple of key departures, expect Durham to have an even bigger impact this upcoming season.

Jordan Durham Jordan Durham 6'3" | CG The Burlington School | 2024 State NC is the type of guy who gets after it every possession. On the offensive end of the floor, he can really shoot it from three. Does not hesitate to pull up from anywhere within his range. Plays great off ball screens. Makes highly contested, big-time shots when it matters most. Really strong kid. Fearless when in pursuit of the rim. Gets to the line a ton and is consistent. Excellent in a pick and roll. On defense, his size allows him to guard 1-4. Has an active presence in the passing lane. Gets a ton of steals that account for easy fast break buckets. Aggressive rebounder for a guard. With a highly anticipated junior year that eventually came up short in the playoffs, expect Durham to get this Burlington School squad right back in the thick of it

Jordan Durham Jordan Durham 6'3" | CG The Burlington School | 2024 State NC moves up 10 spots at the 76th spot in the latest rankings update. He’s a wiry combo guard at 6-foot-3 that can operate off the bounce and operate as a playmaker when needed. He recently made the move to The Burlington School this past summer and has found solid footing as as a name in their backcourt. He was an indispensable guard to have in the backcourt this season as the Spartans won yet another NCISAA State title in 2022-23. He produced 7.1 ppg, 4.8 rpg, 2.7 apg and 1.1 spg as a junior and will look to continue his development this spring/summer with Team PUSH NC.

Durham enters as a new face in the 2024 class to keep an eye on at No. 86 in the latest update. He joins The Burlington School backcourt in 2022-23. He’s a lengthy prospect at 6-foot-4 that’s shown flashes of his potential as a scorer and playmaker on the wing. He’s coming into his own athletically as well. He’s one to watch with break out potential this year for the Spartans.
