His team came up short in their quarterfinal matchup but he was able to put together a big time scoring night before fouling out late in the game. He has good upper body strength that allows him to embrace contact when he attacks the paint but can also score from outside.

We fully expect to see some big-time performances from him throughout the playoffs, starting with their first matchup with BBA. He understands how to get to his spots without much of an issue, has good upper body strength, and can score the ball from multiple levels with high efficiency.

The Mount St. Mary commit  is an absolute bucket. He just recently crossed over the 2000 point threshold for his high school career.  He gets buckets in a variety of ways and is a threat at all three levels.

Got off to a slower start at the beginning of the game but really stepped up and helped his team make a nice run in the second half. He scored 19 out of his 24 Points in the second half, helping his team to cut a double-digit deficit all the way down to a tied game.

Walker got his in the second half as the game opened up and he had more opportunities to isolate and go 1 on 1. He’s a downhill playmaker that either sprays passes out or finishes well around the rim. Decent three point shooter as well when left open and has time. His frame allows him to guard with physicality as well, and be able to switch and guard taller/bigger guys if he has to. Will be a contributor at Mt. Saint Mary’s immediately next year.

Zion Walker Zion Walker 6'2" | PG The Burlington School | 2024 State NC was a menace in creating things off the bounce in isolation for The Burlington School. While he was just 3-for-9 from the field, he managed to go 7-of-7 from the free-throw line in producing 14 points and an assist for his squad. He sported a sleaker frame which allowed him to navigate into the painted area and draw contact on his attempts to the bucket. He remains a top name to know in North Carolina’s 2024 class at the guard spot.
