Birmingham has begun to really pick it up over the past week, scoring 51 points over two wins for Concord Academy this week. He hit six threes in their win over Southlake Christian, showcasing his shooting prowess and versatility in a big way. His ability to play the 3 and the 4 will make him an asset for Coach Schertz at Indiana State immediately, and it’s nice to see him really get going early on in the season. He should continue to be a key piece in how deep Concord Academy can go in the state tournament.

Birmingham is headed to the Indiana State Sycamores in the Missouri Valley Conference. He’s the second commitment in their class, joining forward Merritt Alderink as a newcomer next fall. He’s an emerging presence who can operate on both ends of the floor in a variety of ways given his length and mobility at 6-foot-8. He’ll be a new face in the Carmel Christian School lineup as they look to continue to be a power on the 4A NCISAA stage. he’s a smooth operator who’s patient with the ball in his hands and can score the ball with ease. He’s got a bright future ahead of him at the next level, especially as a perimeter presence.

Birmingham is a jumbo wing, but was playing as a big for Carmel Christian this weekend at the 4. His outside shot was on display once again, knocking down threes over closeouts and making himself a big time floor spacer on the day. He also played better defense than I had seen from him before, becoming a presence on the help side and in the post. He pinned a layup off the backboard and made a couple of big rim-protecting plays when the ball got low on the court, which made me much more of a fan of his two way potential. He’s a name who continues to get better and better and should make a real impact as a Division 1 3 or 4 man.

Sean Birmingham Sean Birmingham 6'8" | CG Concord | 2024 State #215 Nation NC is a wiry wing prospect that can hold his own on the perimeter as a shotmaker and playmaker with Team Curry on the grassroots scene currently. He ran with The Cannon School during the high school season and remains to be an under-the-radar prospect among college coaches given his prowess as an operator off the bounce and off the catch. He’s a name to get to know given his length and abilities on the hardwood.

Iceland native Sean Birmingham Sean Birmingham 6'8" | CG Concord | 2024 State #215 Nation NC debuts in the 2024 rankings at the No. 14 spot. He’s a Top 15 talent in the state out of Cannon School that’s 6-foot-8 and capable of making things happen on the wing and in the backcourt. He uses his size to create mismatch problems for opposing defenders and can knock down shots on the perimeter off the bounce. He’ll be running with Team Curry this grassroots season, college coaches will want to get a look at him.
