In this article I’ll spotlight the most impressive guys I saw on Sunday.
Fairfield graduated some key pieces last year but bring back Kameron Sanders Kameron Sanders 6’3″ | PG Fairfield | 2025 State OH and Gabe Clemmons Gabe Clemmons 6’10” | C Fairfield | 2025 State OH as returning starters in the 2025 class. A lot of their new faces also come from the 2025 class and Ingram caught my eye on Sunday. A quick guard who wanted to get downhill, Ingram played with a lot of aggressiveness and hit a few floater shots. A capable shooter from the mid-range as well, Ingram could attack a closeout and find spots in the zone to attack. I expect Ingram to burst onto the GMC scene this winter as a valuable piece for Fairfield this season.

Leach has taken a step this spring offensively and has two Division I offers to his name with Toledo and most recently College of Charleston. A dynamic off guard, Leach was attacking the basket and making the right dump off pass to his bigs and cutters for layups. Always been a tough defender, Leach blocked multiple 3-pointers in the game I caught. His hands defensively are also impressive as he applies ball pressure without fouling. I’ve enjoyed watching the growth of Leach this spring and will be interested to continue to follow his upward trajectory.
An athletic guard, McRoberts provided a spark to his team. Made some impressive skips to the corner and to bigs on drives, looking to pass if the lane wasn’t open for a shot. With his physical tools, he has the potential to be an impact defensive player down the road and a weakside rotation led to a big-time blocked shot. McRoberts hit a layup with 10 seconds left in regulation to tie and had a mid-range jumper in overtime to take the lead, showing some of his scoring ability. I think down the road McRoberts has scholarship potential at some level of college basketball.

Most of the attention on Harlan County goes to Trent Noah Trent Noah 6’7″ | SF Harlan County | 2024 State #139 Nation KY , and for good reason, the wing has earned a handful of high major offers in the past few months. Don’t sleep on Huff too as a combo guard who can get hot from the outside in a hurry. With no conscious as a shooter, he doesn’t care if he’s missed his last few shots and is covered, Huff is gonna fire like he’s on a heater. Able to get buckets in a hurry, Huff really liked the mid-range pull-up off the pick and roll but also showed the ability to hit shots out to 25 feet. This duo is going to be tough to defend next season and will scorch nets across southeastern Kentucky.

Jeffersonville used their physicality and tenacity to take down Harlan County led by their trio of 2025 prospects including Douglas, Tre Singleton and Michael Cooper. Douglas was a strong wing who finished a lot of shots at the rim. He was active around the basket and cut off the ball to make himself available. His ability to finish through contact allowed him to get some tough buckets in the paint and his and-1 layup in the fourth quarter was the icing on the cake for his team. After losing their first-round game, Jeffersonville ran of five straight wins to end the weekend.

Lyon County was dominant and cruised to a 32-team bracket championship behind the play of their three headed 2024 attack of Travis Perry Travis Perry 6’2″ | PG Lyon County | 2024 State #115 Nation KY , Brady Shoulders Brady Shoulders 6’6″ | PF Lyon County | 2024 State KY and Reddick. While Perry is the nationally ranked prospect and was impressive, I wanted to highlight the play of Reddick in this article. A skilled wing guard who can make shots off the bounce and catch, Reddick was efficient from all over the court. Also having some impressive handle and flash, Reddick had a couple crossovers that created space and a sweet behind the back pass. Currently holding one offer from Kentucky Christian, I wouldn’t be surprised if more regional NAIA and Division II programs got involved with Reddick as he progresses through his senior season.

One of the most impressive passers I’ve watched all summer, Gough was setting the table for his teammates at a high level. Using his quickness and ability to create off the bounce at a high level, Gough was tough for the defense to stay in front of and once he sucked in help-side defense is was a quick pass to a teammate in a spot to score. Also a capable scorer for himself, Gough hit some deep shots off the bounce. One of the top 2025 guards in Indianapolis, I’d imagine Gough has already heard from Division I coaches since they’ve been allowed to directly contact 2025 kids earlier this week and it won’t be long till he has an offer from a low to mid major program.
Fishers was probably the most impressive team I saw all weekend and they dominated the 64-team bracket to win the championship. Metzger was moving without the basketball and letting it fly quickly once it got in his hands. With a quick release and good feet preparation before the shot, it didn’t take much for Metzger to get a shot up and through the nets. Fishers looks firing on all cylinders right now and should be one of the top teams in Indiana this winter.
