There were many standouts throughout the event, and plenty of offers were thrown around as well. Here’s a look at part two of the 2025 standouts from the Maryland schools in attendance.
Patrick McDonough Patrick McDonough 6'0" | PG Georgetown Prep | 2025 State MD | 5’11” PG | Georgetown Prep
McDonough wasted no time getting to it, as he came out in game one shooting the cover off the ball and showed his ability to make plays for himself and others throughout the event. He’s able to play on or off the ball as he’s shifty with the ball in his hands and moves well off the ball to get open, he shoots it at a high clip from deep and he has great vision to find shooters and cutters off the bounce. He finished the event averaging 9.3 points and 1.5 assists per game.
Akbar Waheed | 6’5” CG | Georgetown Prep
Waheed is one of the more talented combos in the DMV, as he can create shots for himself and others at will and is a talented shot maker off the bounce. He is shifty with a quick first step and the ability to change speeds and directions, he has a good handle to get by defenders and create space and he can score the ball in a number of ways from all three levels. He finished the event averaging 12.5 points, 5.8 rebounds and 2 assists per game.
Adrien Stevens Adrien Stevens 6'4" | SG Bullis | 2025 State #113 Nation MD | 6’4” WG | Bullis
Stevens has emerged from an intriguing shooter throughout his sophomore year and has improved into an all-around two guard who will be a national recruit moving forward. The 6’4” off guard is strong and dynamic as he can handle it and get downhill where he’s an athletic finisher, he can make shots on the move from deep and can hit the pull-up off the bounce and he competes on both ends and makes plays defensively. He finished the event leading his talented Bullis team at 11.3 points and pitched in 7 rebounds and 1.5 steals per game.
Jayson Peterson Jayson Peterson 6'8" | C Bullis | 2025 State MD | 6’8” PF | Bullis
Peterson is another rising junior for this Bullis team that is turning the corner and starting to become a much more impactful player, and his blend of size, athleticism and skill will have him highly recruited moving forward. At 6’8” he runs the floor and has long arms to play above the rim and protect the rim, he can step out on the perimeter where he’s a good shooter and he has good ball skills with the ability to put it on the deck in transition and in face up scenarios. He finished the event averaging 6.5 points on 63% shooting from the field and 4.3 rebounds per game.
Eric Reibe Eric Reibe 7'0" | C Bullis | 2025 State #82 Nation MD | 6’11” C | Bullis
Reibe has already made noise on the recruiting trail this spring with New World, and the native of Germany had good outing at DMV Live showing his immense talent at his size. He plays with a good motor and is starting to get used to the physicality over here in the states, he has great touch with both hands around the rim, he’s quick off his feet and he has great hands to catch tough passes. He finished the event averaging 9.5 points on 50% shooting from the field and 7 rebounds per game.
