-Embeya thrived as a passer out of the low block on a day that saw Spalding swarm the senior forward the entire night, creating easy looks for his shooters. Embeya controlled the glass for most of the 1H, set great screens, and finished his opportunities around the rim–highlighted by a massive poster dunk in transition down the stretch in the 4Q.

Embeya took awhile to get going offensively today but was a big part of Goretti clawing their way back late in the 4Q. The Towson commit showed his ability to score with a soft touch in the paint and from the FT line. He moved well defensively but offensively is showing more of a face-up game this season vs a more traditional back to the basket offensive attack– a move that will pay dividends at the next level. The sturdy big finished with 13p 5r 2s 1a on the night.
