Specifically forwards and bigs, these are a few prospects who hold legitimate upside at the next level alongside great mindsets to improve down the line.
Eric Fiedler Eric Fiedler 6'7" | PF Regis Jesuit | 2026 State CO – Regis Jesuit – 2026
Fiedler continues to build upon his refined toolbox at roughly 6’6 and 215 pounds, productive inside and out. The bulky forward is incredibly strong while putting his size to use through the ball handling skill set. He is continuing to improve his ball skills for downhill drives, proving to make high level decisions that lead to efficient shots. Once he finds the right matchup, there is little opponents can do to slow down Fiedler outside of fouling or hopefully trapping to force the ball out. He already possesses a knockdown jumper off the catch, keeping opponents honest along the perimeter. There are few forwards in that 2026 class who bring his blend of raw strength and productivity with the ball in his hands, certainly a difference maker with Regis Jesuit next season.
Kade Speckman – Lutheran – 2026
Speckman brings excellent defensive instincts at his size, standing right around 6’8. The big is constantly roaming around for shot blocking opportunities, getting up just in time to swat away shots. The incoming sophomore has a high motor on rebounds, proving pesky getting to second and third chance opportunities for putbacks. Despite his young age, Speckman is fairly strong around the paint, proving competitive against a variety of frontcourt opponents. His continued growth as a passer will be highly intriguing.
Daniel Mbadinga Daniel Mbadinga 6'8" | PF Rocky Mountain | 2026 State CO – Rocky Mountain – 2026
Mbadinga-Nzamba is another impressive frontcourt prospect at roughly 6’7, possessing legitimate athleticism and mobility. The lanky forward possesses a wide reach, complemented by quick bounce which aids his interior defensive production. Mbadinga-Nzamba has no trouble getting up around the rim, whether swatting shots or throwing down two-handed dunks. He still possesses upside with self-created scoring, occasionally taking and making mid-post fadeaways. His continued growth with the jump shot holds a large component to his offensive ceiling, given the release point and his obvious height advantage.
Caleb Fay Caleb Fay 6'4" | SG Kent Denver | 2026 State CO – Kent Denver – 2026
Fay has very high upside given his ball skills and total strength advantage versus most forwards. The incoming sophomore showed a greater volume of downhill scoring attempts utilizing the left hand. Given his outright strength advantage, Fay typically gets to his spots with the strong hand. When challenged this weekend, Fay was not fazed by opportunities with the off-hand, contributing on quite a few layups through contests with that off-hand. He continues to refine his defensive fundamentals, staying low to make the most of his lateral movement. Fay remains one of the most intriguing prospects in the class. His growth as a passer will be very intriguing, given that he controls the driving lanes so well.
Boaz Wisne Boaz Wisne 6'5" | SF Horizon | 2027 State CO – Horizon – 2027
Wisne is already built, regardless of age as an incoming freshman. At roughly 6’5, he already possesses a sturdy frame allowing him to finish strong in paint. Although Wisne has notable inside and out game, already provided by a sustainable baseline with his shooting form, stretching out to the three point line.
