Each of these guys should be key players on their high school teams come winter, and show the depth across all positions this freshman class has. Here are some of the biggest risers in this 2026 rankings update that saw nearly 50 newly ranked players.
Ford is a physically mature player who has already shown he can play against high-level competition, suiting up for Beauchamp Elite’s 17U team this spring. He’s the kind of player that possesses the necessary strength to finish through multiple defenders in the paint, and often only needs a half step on his defender to get leverage and get to the cup. He’s explosive, can cover ground in a hurry, and continues to improve his handle and shooting that will help him become a complete threat from the wings.

The Camas forward came on late last season to become a big part of their state run and has kept that momentum going along with a little growth spurt. He’s now 6-foot-7 and is becoming quite the versatile big man. Harris is long and rebounds well, he can shoot the three at a high clip, and even has shown some potential putting the ball on the floor, working shots off the dribble in the mid-range, and playmaking going to the hoop. He’s got a lot more potential to tap into and should be a big name to watch next season.
Highlights
The Eastside Catholic point guard plays beyond his years with intelligence, speed, and great control on the ball. He’s able to prod defenses, keep the dribble alive, and execute tough passes with his outstanding vision through traffic. As a smaller guard, he’s able to finish around much bigger defenders at the rim, using his body to create space and hit from all angles.
Van De Graaf has been a huge performer at the EYBL for the Rotary Rebels, shooting 50% on the season while taking the second most shots on the team. He’s a guy ready to take over for Zillah next season with his combo of athleticism, size, and shooting. He’s also shot 35.1% from 3-point and been the Rebels second leading scorer thus far. He brings some playmaking on the other side of the ball too, leading the team in steals and is second in blocked shots.
Highlights
McGriff has emerged as a bit of a 3&D guy on the EYBL trail, but he has the size and skill to be a much bigger factor around the rim too. He’s shown the ability to operate with his back to the hoop a bit this summer and incorporate some mid-range shots with good footwork and touch. He’s just scratching the surface, but he could be a guy that sees real growth this season as he’ll be counted on to help lead the Emerald Ridge Jags this winter.
Moimoi is a player who can make an impact just with his athleticism and hustle but as he gets more comfortable handling the ball and driving from the perimeter, he should take off scoring the ball. He’s done a lot of damage on the offensive glass and scrapping for putbacks this summer and has shown some versatility on the defensive end. He has the burst at the rim to be a legit finisher and is a guy to watch who is still pretty raw in his ability.
Norrah was a contributor on a Bellevue team that was a tough out at the 3A tournament last season. He has the strength and quickness from the guard spot to make a real impact on the ball and has shown some good improvement creating shots off the dribble this summer. His strength is a legit factor on drives and finishing at the rim. Once he gets a better feel for that jumper, he should be a tough guy to stop.
Here’s another undersized point that just gets it out on the court. He plays with great tempo, vision, and poise for a kid his age. With some elite quickness and good decision-making, he can make a real impact as a pass-first guard who can also make some shots when it’s required. Spanaway Lake could be a team to watch this winter and Alexander will be a key piece for them going forward.
