About Nick
Expert Analysis
Devin Record | Prep Hoops Scout
Nick is a big time athlete, excelling on the football field as well. On the court, he scores from all 3 levels and handles the ball in an elite way. He does a great job at changing pace with the ball in his hands, keeping defenders on their toes and being able to stop on a dime with no problem. His athleticism helps him rise to the rim where not a lot of players can meet him. He has a soft touch around the rim and can finish with either hand.

Norrah has really elevated his game this season, particularly in 2025. He’s an exceptional athlete, not necessarily one who will play above the rim, but his lateral quickness, strength, and short burst separate him from a lot of guards in his class. He’s been a key scorer for the Wolverines as they marched to a 16-5 regular season record and has been able to find his rhythm by attacking the hoop early on to set up his perimeter shooting. Bellevue starts their district run as the 2-seed in District 2 and faces a West Seattle squad who is 3-0 in the playoffs tomorrow night.

Another impressive Bellevue guard with high potential is sophomore Nick Norrah Nick Norrah 6'2" | SG Bellevue | 2026 State WA . He’s a great shot creator off the dribble but showed another side to his game in the loss to West Seattle, coming up with huge defensive plays. Norrah did a nice job getting downhill and to the rim but it was his reads and reactive play on the defensive end that had the biggest impact. Norrah jumped a couple of passes at the top of the key, one at the end of the first quarter that led to a trip to the foul line, and another in the second quarter that led to an assist and bucket the other way. He’s a pretty good athlete and showed it on a big block inside later in the third. It was a good showing for the guard who should be someone to watch next season that has the potential to make a big leap.

Still got to see his ability to create off the dribble though what impressed me was more off the ball stuff. Good intuition finding lanes to attack the offensive glass, stepped it up on defense with pokes and deflections. Norrah also had an important stretch in the second half, converting the right side-left hand layup, then hustling back to get a block at the rim on the other end.

Previous Rank: 25rnNorrah has an incredible ability to create. He’s most effective with the ball in his hands, working his man with stutters, crosses, and good burst in and out of his moves. He’s been more consistent with his finishing, and with his ability to create space he can pose a lot of problems 1v1. He’s super strong for a guard, has quick feet, and showed he can put it all together for some big outputs this summer.
