make up one of the best junior groups in the state, regardless of classification. A common trait among that Weatherford group is their size and versatility. This Sage brother has become a consistent knockdown shooter from the perimeter, while also able to put the ball on the floor and attack the rim when given openings. On defense, he’s a jack of all trades, with the ability to defend on the perimeter while also being willing to get his nose dirty on the class. He’s

Parker has been a fun watch this winter and spring because of his consistent improvement. He’s become a more agile and active player, all while maintaining his willingness to battle it out around the rim. The Crossings Knight often uses his strong frame to carve out space for rebounds or post touches. While also having a thriving pick and pop game in the mid-range and even beyond the arc. A blue collar forward prospect with improving stretch forward aspects, Parker is due for another productive season this winter and up tick in college recruitment is likely to come soon.

A small town floor general, along with his table setting ways Freeman has the long range marksman traits typically found among the best small school players. His range extends to a few feet beyond the arc and he’s looked the most comfortable when pulling up off the dribble with a smooth, effortless shooting stroke. His shooting ability opens up the court for drives, where he thrives setting up post players or kicking it out to perimeter shooters. Freeman has also improved his floater game, giving him a higher success rate on drives into the trees.

Another heady floor general, Todd is a shifty and tenacious downhill attacker. While he does do a good job as a finisher for a smaller guard, the Bethany Broncho also had good vision to find teammates when he plays with patience on drives. Overall, he’s a crafty lead guard that finds a good balance between scoring and distributing, who should help Bethany make some noise this winter in a still deep Class 4A.
A lanky guard, Kim has really started to grow into his body and has the look of smooth off the ball scorer. He has iso qualities with how he can operate by hitting tough shots in the mid-range while also being able to rise up and shoot over sagging defenders from beyond the arc. Last year, Cascia Hall came up just short of the Class 3A State tournament. With Kim and other youngsters back and now more experienced, look for the Commandos to be a force in Class 3A this winter.
