William Monk III William Monk III 6’3″ | CG Fike | 2025 State NC has quietly built up his portfolio on the hardwood this spring with Carolina Swarm Monk. He’s been their unsung leader in the backcourt with his ability to run the show and make plays for himself and others. He’s a wiry guard at 6-foot-3 that can knock down shots on the perimeter and make things happen off the bounce with consistency. He’s a name to keep eyes on at Fike High in Wilson.
Jonah Holt Jonah Holt 6’3″ | SG Swansboro | 2025 State NC is another prospect that made a name for himself in this year’s 252 Invitational with East Coast All-Stars. He showed he could knock down shots off the bounce and off the catch and get hot in a hurry working off his Swansboro counterparts Tay Tangiora Tay Tangiora 6’6″ | PF Swansboro | 2025 State NC and Jermaine Cunningham Jermaine Cunningham 6’3″ | CG Swansboro | 2025 State NC . Dacen Petty Dacen Petty 6’4″ | CG East Rutherford | 2025 State NC has been a name that’s emerged recently out West on the grassroots/high school scene out of East Rutherford High. He’s a shifty guard that’s shown he can finish in traffic in the paint and knock down shots in space. He’s an athletic 6-foot-4 guard to keep an eye on in the 2025 class given his prowess on the hardwood.
Derek Ross Jr Derek Ross Jr 5’11” | PG Jordan | 2025 State NC looks ready to take over the reigns at the point guard spot over at Jordan High after a solid sophomore campaign. He’s running with the NC Wildcats on the grassroots scene, showing off his poise at the floor general spot with his ability to get into the teeth of the defense and make things happen off the bounce. He does well to control the pace and defend when he’s on the floor to make an impact.
