Tangiora is another prospect out of Swansboro for DI programs in the region to get eyes on. He’s a sizeable forward at 6-foot-7 with a traditional post man game. He produced 18.0 points, 8.6 rebounds and 2.1 blocks per contest in his senior season while shooting 67 percent from the field. He’s another prospect who continues to develop with room to showcase a perimeter game as well. He’s certainly worth a look given his size and frame.

Colleges on the D2/D3/NAIA levels should be reaching out to him as soon as possible. He showcased his ability to make plays inside and outside of the paint, plays the game with a high level of toughness and still has plenty of upside.

Tangiora is starting to show his stuff in the Swansboro High frontcourt as he heads into his senior year. He’s an active big man who knows how to make his presence felt offensively after posting 16.3 points, 7.9 rebounds and 1.7 assists per game this past season. His presence was a big reason the Pirates made it to the NCHSAA 3A Elite Eight this past year and with their core backcourt returning, they’re looking to do more damage. Tangiora is a prospect for DII/DIII programs in the region to get eyes on.

Tangiora is a monster on the interior for Swansboro, as the Pirates look to make a deep run in the 3A East bracket. He had 31 points and 12 rebounds in the first round win over Union Pines, then 17 and 12 in a tight win over JH Rose. His size and work rate on both ends of the floor makes him a menace to smaller teams. Also has an elite ability to get to the free throw line, mostly because of his effort and physicality. Shot 17 free throws in their first round win.
