Sean Purvis – Fossil Ridge – NOCO Triple Threat
Purvis brings value in a variety of areas, proving to be a versatile perimeter threat. The 6’2 guard is fairly strong complemented by a dependable handle in traffic, allowing him to have encouraging value as a pick and roll playmaker. Purvis already has a knockdown jumper that may be leveraged off the catch or dribble, complemented by a steady pace in the halfcourt. His presence with the ball makes him a constant threat who will be a valuable asset for a Fossil Ridge group with a completely new look.
Alonzo Rodgers Alonzo Rodgers 5'7" | CG Cherokee Trail | 2024 State CO – Cherokee Trail – Colorado Anarchy
Rodgers has shown prowess as a shotmaker for Anarchy, proving adept at hitting shots off the catch or dribble. At roughly 5’8, the combo guard is a talented perimeter scorer, who shows value as a volume scorer. Should a lane open up following a kick out, Rodgers does well getting downhill quickly, even getting to his floater if they attempt to wall off the paint. There is no doubt that the guard will be a key contributor with Cherokee Trail next season, likely taking on a high usage rate. Through his season with Cherokee Trail, Rodgers has put up 10.2 points per game while staying incredibly efficient beyond the arc. His growth as a facilitator will be worth tracking, given his advanced toolbox as a shotmaker.
Mataeo Jourdan Mataeo Jourdan 6'0" | SG Mountain Range | 2024 State CO – Mountain Range – Hard2Guard
Jourdan is a crafty perimeter scoring threat who can rise up for shots along the perimeter and mid-range. The guard possesses a quick first step, allowing him to blow by rotating defenses. What makes him especially valuable is his shotmaking under pressure, capable of hitting big shots on final possessions. Through his junior season at Mountain Range, the guard put up 9.6 points and 2 rebounds per game.
Simon Alexander Simon Alexander 6'4" | SG DSST: Byers | 2024 State CO – DSST: Byers – Colorado Collective
Alexander is a dependable shotmaker off the catch, alongside plus reach to defend multiple backcourt positions. The shooting guard came off of an encouraging junior season, putting up 12.8 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 1.9 steals per game. His plus reach allows him a bit more space to interfere with passing lanes, where he does well staying in position on help. His on-ball scoring versatility is an area worth tracking, given his effectiveness off-ball. As he continues to get stronger, look for Alexander to be a prospect who is a dynamic defensive presence.
Caeden Twedell Caeden Twedell 5'11" | CG Ralston Valley | 2024 CO – Ralston Valley – B&B Academy
Twedell does well as either a lead or complementary guard, aided by a dependable jumper and high IQ with the ball. The guard shows value coming out of the pick and roll, slowing down the pace to find the right opportunity. Moving into next season with Ralston Valley, Twedell is going to be a dependable complementary playmaker, proving to have a moldable playstyle.
