As a wing ball-handler, Kershaw can pull-up from long distance or use his ability to attack the basket and length to finish at the rim. With some progression in the weight room, Kershaw has the size and skill to play into contact and determine where he wants to go with the basketball. I expect another leap in scoring for Kershaw as a Junior, he should be one of the top scorers in the OCC next season.","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_1_player":["1888322"],"_player_evaluations_1_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_1_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_1_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"Minford went through a regular season without a loss to an opponent from Ohio and the 2025 duo of Kayser and [player_tooltip player_id='1432013' first='Myles' last='Montgomery'] were key reasons for that. Kayser has versatility to play inside and the outside as a wing forward and has used some perimeter skill in the grassroots season. During the high school season, Kayser was mostly used on the inside where he used his athleticism and size against overmatched small-town opponents. For Midwest Basketball Club Gold 16 U, you've seen him attack closeouts, knock down turnaround jumpers and still shoot over smaller defenders when they get switched onto him. One of the top players in southeast Ohio, expect Minford to win a high percentage of their games again in 2023-24.","_player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_2_player":["1742314"],"_player_evaluations_2_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_2_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_2_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"Meyer's twin Matthew made his debut during the ranking prior but after a run to the state championship game, Joshua proved that he was worthy of being added as well. During the Cleveland Play by Play event, Meyer really stood out with his ability to pass the ball from the middle of the court and from the high post. Meyer was also finishing at the rim with confidence and played with a lot of aggressiveness. Expect Lutheran West to once again be one of the top teams in Division II and look to win that one final game next season with Meyer and company having one more year of experience.","_player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_3_player":["1540137"],"_player_evaluations_3_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_3_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_3_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"An impressive athlete, Gross made some impressive strides as a Sophomore for a Louisville squad that had some marquee wins last season. In the one high school game I caught of Gross during the winter, he threw down multiple alley-oop slam-dunks off the backboard in transition opportunities. With the Guros of Go, it's been more of the same for Gross as his size, athleticism and feel for the game have allowed him to continue to be productive. Expect Louisville to once again be one of the better teams in the Akron/Canton area in 2023-24.","_player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_4_player":["1837239"],"_player_evaluations_4_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_4_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_4_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_4_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_4_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_4_evaluation":"Sheets was another player who came up short in the state title game but his playoff run was impressive to watch. His ability to score around the rim and punish smaller teams with his back to the basket made him a match-up problem as a Sophomore. With the coordination to put it on the floor and finish at the rim, Sheets can space you out then use his size to finish through you at the rim. When he naturally gets stronger over the next few years, you'll see Sheets be even tougher to stop on the block and be more explosive as a leaper. I want to see where Sheets is at as a shooter with a limited sample so far.","_player_evaluations_4_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_5_player":["1503914"],"_player_evaluations_5_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_5_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_5_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_5_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_5_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_5_evaluation":"Kielmeyer is a guy who just competes on both ends and his motor stands out against other forwards. Another aspect of his game that I love is his unselfishness to give up his body and take a charge. With his size and offensive rebounding ability, Kielmeyer gets some easy buckets just off playing harder than his counterparts. Gaining valuable chemistry with star [player_tooltip player_id='1432011' first='Kruz' last='McClure'] during both the high school and grassroots season, expect this pair to be the future of Westerville South basketball.","_player_evaluations_5_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_6_player":["1888353"],"_player_evaluations_6_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_6_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_6_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_6_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_6_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_6_evaluation":"Imade had to wait his turn behind a senior laden squad for Sycamore this past year but is set to break out as a Junior. Imade has grown next to Kayser for Midwest Basketball Club Gold 16 U this spring with his impressive physical tools, ability to knock down an open jumper and high motor. All of these skills are things that small college programs look for in a forward and I expect Imade to be a priority for those schools next spring/summer.","_player_evaluations_6_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":7,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"edit","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-64665a687f00b"} /-->
