A high-level shot-maker on the wing, Kershaw helped lead Franklin Heights to their best season in years and ended with a bang on Thursday night. Making some deep 3-pointers and a few shots where he went right over smaller defenders, Kershaw has soft touch on jumpers. He also had a couple lefty finishes at the rim. A younger prospect for the 2025 class, Kershaw could be a post grad option before heading off to the college level.

A wing forward with some real scoring talent, Kershaw had some big games for Westland as a Sophomore. As a wing ball-handler, Kershaw can pull-up from long distance or use his ability to attack the basket and length to finish at the rim. With some progression in the weight room, Kershaw has the size and skill to play into contact and determine where he wants to go with the basketball. I expect another leap in scoring for Kershaw as a Junior, he should be one of the top scorers in the OCC next season.

Kershaw has had some huge scoring outbursts this season and he got hot late from 3-point range to show off his scoring ability. I was impressed with how Kershaw created with the ball in his hands and was able to get low with the dribble despite standing at 6’4. Kershaw did need a lot of dribbles to create so figuring out ways to be efficient at creating space with the ball will be essential when he plays at the grassroots level. Kershaw also has the frame to make a leap defensively and in the weight room. Kershaw has lots of upside and if he continues to develop could wind up a scholarship level prospect.hayd
