Gavin Gores Gavin Gores 6'10" | PF Cumberland | 2025 State WI – 2025 – PF – Wisconsin Playmakers
A guy that might be the biggest riser in the next class of 2025 rankings, Gores has a ton of upside and potential. The 6-foot-9 forward is athletic, runs the floor, protects the rim, can back down and score in the post, and shoots it quite well from beyond the arc. Body type and game is a little comparable to former Monroe star Cade Meyer, now at Northern Kentucky. A prospect that has a chance to make significant gains annually, Gores is probably top 25 right now in this loaded sophomore class and only going up.
Highlights
Jake Hansen Jake Hansen 6'1" | SG Wauwatosa West | 2025 State #331 Nation WI – 2025 – SG – Wisconsin Playground Club
Arguably the best catch and shoot guard in Wisconsin’s 2025 class, Hansen is having another strong spring. Offers are on the table from St. John’s and Arizona State. The 6-foot-1 sniper loves to play off dribble penetration and find the soft spots on the arc. He’s steadily improved his ability to get inside the 3-point line and score off the dribble — against athletes too. If you let him get a couple looks early…watch out.
Brooks Hinson Brooks Hinson 6'1" | PG Marshfield | 2025 State #251 Nation WI – 2025 – PG – Wisconsin Playmakers
One of the premier true floor generals in the state, Hinson runs teams like a pro. You need him to orchestrate the offense, he can do that. Dribble into high percentage areas and create for his teammates…no problem. Take over the game as a scorer, Hinson will deliver. A high-IQ point guard that plays mistake-free basketball, Hinson won’t blow you away size-wise or athletically, but he’s got an advanced understanding of the game and what he’s got upstairs isn’t matched by many. Also a knockdown shooter that forces you to pay attention to him at all times, the pressure Hinson applies to an opposing defense allows everyone to eat.
Jay Johnson Jay Johnson 6'4" | SF Stoughton | 2025 State WI – 2025 – SG – Wisconsin Academy
A prospect we’ll be monitoring closely over the next two years, Johnson showed a lot of flashes last season. A plus-length, 6-foot-3 guard/wing that’s athletic and has defensive versatility, Johnson has a chance to take off by the time his senior year rolls around. A little bit of a 3-and-D prospect right now, but Johnson shows some flashes with a quick first step to the rim and the ability to power through contact.

Luka Momcilovic Luka Momcilovic 6'8" | SF Pewaukee | 2025 State WI – 2025 – F – Chapman Basketball Academy
Starting to come into his own, Momcilovic had a strong weekend at the Battle at the Lakes. Hadn’t seen him in a real primary role yet throughout his career and Momcilovioc handled being a go-to scorer well. Part of the Pewaukee dynasty, Momcilovic started to show flashes as a sophomore. He’s not as big as his brother, but has a lot of the same qualities, including his ability to be a real mismatch problem, playing inside-out, and scoring off balance.
Caleb Polling Caleb Polling 6'4" | SF Mukwonago | 2025 State WI – 2025 – F – 24:UP
A prospect that’s gaining steam in 2025, Polling has caught our attention a few times this spring. He’s kind of an undersized stretch/combo forward, but Polling makes you pick your poison to an extent. The 6-foot-4 sophomore will shoot it from deep, get involved in the pick n’ pop game, and take things down around the rim where he can score with touch and finesse.
Anthony Rise Anthony Rise 6'0" | CG Brookfield Central | 2025 State WI – 2025 – G – Chapman Basketball Academy
Rise is a nice combo guard who plays fast and can really get it going as a scorer. Have seen the Brookfield Central product just explode offensively at times. Rise shoots it a high clip from 3-point range, but love how he’s able to mix things up, use his speed to get into the 12-18 foot range, and shoot off the bounce. While he’s a little undersized, Rise understands body control and how to evade shot blockers. Not a guy that’s going to score over too many people, but Rise is going to get into a defender’s chest, limit their elevation, and score with touch and/or use the rim as a shield as well.

Kai Rogers Kai Rogers 6'10" | C Wauwatosa West | 2025 State #41 Nation WI – 2025 – F/C – Wisconsin Playground Club
Could be an absolutely dominant weekend for Rogers. Already holding a loaded offer list with a plethora of power-five programs chasing after his services, Rogers is ascending nationally as one of the top centers in the country. An explosive 6-foot-10 sophomore who runs and moves about as well as anybody at his size, Rogers can control a game around the rim on both ends of the floor. He’s clearly put a lot of work into his skill as well, adding to his game on the block and starting to shoot it from 3-point range at a pretty decent clip.
