Nike EYBL Session 4 – 17u All-Circuit Teams

This is simply what we do at Prep Hoops. Memorial Day weekend was a perfect time to make the trip down to Memphis for Nike EYBL Session 4. While taking in the action at the Memphis Sports &amp; Events Center I primarily focused on covering the Indy Heat programs plus the other EYBL programs that feature Indiana high school prospects. However, I also took the opportunity to get eyes on some of the other top prospects from around the country. Let's dive on in and take a look at the top performers from throughout the event.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">First Team</h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:acf/evaluation-block {"name":"acf/evaluation-block","data":{"player_evaluations_0_player":["1046909"],"_player_evaluations_0_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"The North Carolina commit, who just reclassified to the Class of 2023, averaged 19.4 points and 7.4 assists per game for the NH Lightning. Cadeau scored 29 points while also dishing out 15 assists in what was probably the most impressive individual performance of the weekend on Monday to finish off the weekend. Knueppel showed up on the standout list all three days this Memorial Day weekend at Nike EYBL Session 4. His final game on Monday was his best yet going off for 37 points to go with 8 rebounds on impressive 13-23, 6-11, 5-7 shooting splits. He went cold from the field on Monday, but through three games on Saturday and Sunday, he had connected on 15 of 24 three-point attempts while averaging 27.7 points per game. The 5-star small forward is incredibly skilled on the offensive end. Sunday was admittedly my first time seeing this 4-star center, but he wasted no time becoming one of my favorite prospects in the class of 2024. On the weekend he averaged 16.3 points and 11.3 rebounds per game while leading Team Takeover to a 4-0 record. The 6'10” big man looked like a guy who should be much higher in the national rankings. On Sunday he had a breakout performance of 33 points, 18 rebounds, and five assists, doing a little bit of everything on the offensive end. Wright averaged 15.6 points, 6.6 rebounds, and 7.4 assists per game as part of a three-headed monster in the backcourt for Team Final. He is a dynamic playmaker off of the dribble, rebounds well from the perimeter, and can score it himself when he gets into the paint. The Illinois commit plays with such a high motor, is truly dominant on the glass, and displays good patience as a finisher in the post.
