College programs will be out in full force this weekend and next as they put the final touches on their Class of 2023 and turn their attention ahead to the Class of 2024 and beyond. The Prep Hoops Circuit is hosting The Stage this weekend at the Pacers Athletic Center and a few other high school gyms in the surrounding area. Let’s dive right into highlighting eight prospects that college programs will want to get eyes on this weekend.
A Top 40 player in the state of Michigan, Bentley has already been making noise this spring with Hopson Elite 2024. He is a physical yet athletic guard that can make plays consistently off of the dribble, get all the way to the basket to finish, or score via his jump shooting ability. Recently picked up an offer from Concordia and should have more coming his way this spring and summer.
One of the more gifted athletes in Indiana’s Class of 2024, Butcher will put his abilities to the test this weekend at The Stage. The 6’4″ wing is an excellent slasher/driver on the offensive end with the ability to get up and finish above the rim. Butcher is very dangerous in transition as well. Defensively, he can guard the opponents best player with his length and lateral quickness. Really high upside on that end of the floor. Look for him to stand out with INB 2024 Elite.
Ellis put together an excellent junior season at Plainfield averaging 14.1 points per game and making just south of 40% of his three-point attempts. The 5’11” guard is a truly elite shooter that has shown the ability to make deep ones off of the dribble and tough shots running off of screens. He has gotten onto the radar of some very good small college programs and should have several eyes on him at The Stage.

Farrell is coming off of a big weekend at IndyBall where he averaged 15.3 points per game. Now, he will suit up for Team Teague 2024 Lyles and look to run it back at The Stage. He is an explosive 6’1″ guard that is very quick in the open floor and dangerous when attacking downhill to the rim. Was a consistent contributor for a talented Westfield backcourt during the high school season.
This 6’7″ big man out of Preble Shawnee High School is a very efficient scorer around the basket and has shown some very intriguing shot-blocking ability as well. Hawley averaged 8.8 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 1.9 blocks per game as a junior and will be playing with a talented R4L 2024 squad this weekend at The Stage.
Nigro comes in ranked as a Top 50 prospect in Ohio’s Class of 2024 after averaging an impressive 15.0 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 3.5 assists per game for Louisville High School. The smooth 6’4″ guard will be playing Midwest Basketball Club-Cleveland. He shows the potential to be a three-level scorer with solid length on the perimeter. Should have several college programs keeping an eye on him.

After being named to the All-Tournament team two weekends ago at the Prep Hoops Circuit Music City Madness, Whitaker is back for more this weekend in Indianapolis. The 6’1″ guard is playing both on or off of the ball with an impressive mixture of both shooting and playmaking ability. Top 75 prospect in the state of Kentucky that will be playing with Kentucky Future Elite 2024.

College programs are always in search of size, and this 6’8″ big man out of Warsaw High School in northern Indiana has plenty of it. Yeager is a strong, physical post that flashes some expanding face-up ability as well. He rebounds his area well, takes up space on the defensive end of the floor, and can finish with both hands some around the basket. Will be on to watch with INB 2024 Elite.
