Myers Park (18-4) @ Olympic (21-1)

By far the biggest game of the week is Myers Park traveling to take on Olympic in what should be a much better contest than last time. Myers park is versatile and deep, boasting [player_tooltip player_id='997734' first='Elijah' last='Strong'] and Sadiq White as frontcourt guys. Strong is a physical bruiser, while White is athletic and wiry, giving the Mustangs very different looks. [player_tooltip player_id='1180892' first='Sir' last='Mohammed'] is a long guard/wing who fits the mold of a college/NBA prospect and should continue to get high major looks, while [player_tooltip player_id='1076350' first='Bishop' last='Boswell'] is a facilitator/scorer who is firmly a D1 player. For Olympic, their offense runs through 6'5 guard [player_tooltip player_id='1730959' first='Kameron' last='Taylor'], who is long, athletic and is looking to get downhill off the dribble any chance he can get. [player_tooltip player_id='1730932' first='Jaydon' last='Terrell'] and Demarco Reynolds are both plus shooters from deep and will provide a three level threat for Olympic. [player_tooltip player_id='1730958' first='Devin' last='Ragin'] will draw the inside matchup as he looks to play his good brand of defense and rebounding, and hopefully contribute a few buckets in the low post. I'm expecting a much better game than last time, but still think Myers Park is the team to beat.

Northern Nash (23-0) @ Rocky Mount (18-2)

A Rocky Mount showdown is set for Friday as Northern Nash takes on Rocky Mount in what should be a very competitive game. [player_tooltip player_id='854919' first='Jamal' last='Townsend'] is a big time point guard for Northern Nash, who does everything at a high level; pass, score, rebound, and defend. [player_tooltip player_id='1154635' first='Randall' last='King'] is averaging 13.3 PPG and 2.5 SPG as a complementary two way guy, and [player_tooltip player_id='1076338' first='Demondre' last='Haymon'] leads the team on the glass with 7.3 RPG, and 2.7 ORPG. For Rocky Mount, it will be a team effort, with guys like Malik Hill and [player_tooltip player_id='1602914' first='Tyler' last='Barnes'] leading the charge. Barnes will do a lot of everything as a lead guard, especially as a rebounder. He will help out [player_tooltip player_id='1046009' first='Deandre' last='Lynch'] down low in that regard, as well as get Lynch the ball for him to score inside. [player_tooltip player_id='1128968' first='Stephon' last='Jones'] is a knockdown shooter and provides an outside presence to a team that loves to score the ball around the rim. This should be an awesome game.

Greene Central (19-4) @ Farmville Central (20-1)

Tuesday night has an Eastern NC clash set up, with Greene Central traveling to take on Farmville. The visiting Rams are led by [player_tooltip player_id='1774433' first='Kendrick' last='Harper'], who's averaging 15.8 PPG and 8.3 RPG, proving his value on both the offensive and defensive end. Nemaj Auston averages 11.6 PPG and is a sharpshooter, shooting almost 50% on the season so far. They take on a loaded as usual Jaguars squad led by New Orleans commit [player_tooltip player_id='854917' first='Jah' last='Short'], who is a dynamo in the open court and in space, and hits difficult shots with ease. [player_tooltip player_id='854911' first='Jayden' last='Pitt'] and sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='1707110' first='MJ' last='Williams'] have had breakout years as well, pacing the Jags as secondary and tertiary options. This should be a fun one, but I think Farmville gets it done at home, though not without a fight.
