About Sir
Expert Analysis
Jay Anderson | Prep Hoops Scout
Mohammed stepped up in a big way, especially in the second half with a barrage of 3-pointers to boost the offense. He battled through some early foul trouble but he didn’t let it slow him down as his shooting sparked a key run in the offense late in the game. He’s another name headed to Notre Dame next fall who should turn heads with his budding skillset.

The Notre Dame commit showcased his ability to attack off the bounce and in the open floor and his ability to effect the game defensively. He was another standout in the Myers Park High backcourt in producing 15.0 PPG, 5.3 RPG, 2.7 SPG and 2.3 APG on 42.9 percent shooting from the floor. As he improves on his ability to knock down shots on the perimeter, he’ll be a force to be reckoned with for the Mustangs in their run to another state title.

Mohammed battled through both injury and foul trouble to really step things up in the second half for this group. He finished with 11 points and 10 rebounds including a big 3-pointer to give them the edge for good down the stretch. It was good to see him back on the floor and he showed no signs of slowing down outside nursing his shoulder injury.

Last Season Stats – 13.5 PPG, 5.3 RPG, 4.9 APG
Mohammed is another big, extremely talented lead guard, an almost impossible occurrence for Myers Park to have two such gifted athletes as a public school. He’s bigger and more physical than Boswell, which makes him a versatile, Swiss Army knife that can achieve a ton of things on both ends. Guards 1-4 really well, and will bring needed physicality each night. Improving his jumper day by day, becoming a threat to play off the ball. Talented in ball screens and other situations with the ball in his hand. He and Boswell will be a handful for every school they play this year.

moves slightly into the No. 8 position, though it’s really no fault of his own, just the way of the latest movement. He’s shown he can operate with the ball in his hands a lot more though with Team Curry on the UAA stage while still maintaining his abilities as a defender, rebounder and playmaker. He’s a HM prospect in the making as his development continues to raise his status.

. He finished second on the squad in assists per game (4.9) and dished out three of them in their championship victory over Richmond Senior High. He doesn’t force things and does well to use his length in a variety of ways on the floor. He also produced 13.5 ppg, 5.3 rpg and 1.9 spg while shooting 44 percent from the floor and 33 percent from 3-point land on the season.
