Andersen is part of a young core at LCA that is maybe a little ahead of schedule in their development and looking dangerous in the 11th region. Last night, Green hit the shot to send the game against Dunbar to overtime and then hit the game winner in OT. Andy is averaging 16 points and 5 rebounds per game with really solid shooting numbers. His Sophomore year is off to a strong start.
Melo is potentially the best young player in the 11th region and has all the physical tools to be a big time recruit in the near future. Boone is off to a big start this season, averaging 17 points per game and getting to the rim repeatedly where he is an excellent finisher. A lockdown defender when he wants to be, few guards in 2025 can match Boone’s physical tools.
Coming off the first triple double in school history last night, Jonah is having quite the start for a young Calloway team. The 6’4 wing is averaging a double-double for the season and shown he can facilitate an offense when needed. Butler has good bounce and is a strong player who can finish through contact at the rim and get to the line.
Highlights
Call it a recency bias but I watched Gage scorch the nets for Great Crossing last night and he’s hitting 42% from deep and most of his makes aren’t even touching the rim. Richardson has a lightning quick release and has the height to get his shot off against a lot of defenders. Great Crossing gets a lot of coverage because of Moreno and Dawson but don’t sleep on Richardson as a future scholarship level player.
