Recently transferring over to Horizon, be on the lookout for Greene as a walking double double. Standing right around 6’6, Greene constantly brings energy as a glass cleaner and transition scoring threat. At Greene’s size, he is especially quick moving north to south, making him one of the first down the floor more times than not. For his size, Greene possesses an especially quick first and second jump, allowing him plenty of second chance opportunities. During his past season, Greene averaged 11.8 points, 7.6 rebounds, and 1.9 blocks per game while contributing 60% of his field goal attempts. Keep tabs on Greene’s shot selection, as he only took three shots from beyond the arc back at Riverdale Ridge. Within the 2024 class, Greene ranks 19th overall and 5th among power forwards.
Wyatt Turner – Canon City
Turner will be a notable rim protector out of Canon City, standing right around 6’8. The incoming junior center has high upside as an overpowering rim roller and face up scorer. Turner is a physical center who has no issues rising up above the rim. Alongside his power, he has potential to be a finesse low post scorer through hook shots and pivot moves. The center already has shown flashes attacking from the elbow as a means to find a post advantage. Turner’s potential lies in his ballhandling consistency and kick out passing vision. Coming into the season, the junior ranks 37th in the state and 3rd among centers.
Alex Riddick Alex Riddick 6'6" | PF Grandview | 2024 State CO – Grandview
Riddick will be a helpful defender for Grandview, who already boasts plenty of size and mobility. Standing right around 6’6, Riddick should be an influetial shot blocker from the weak side, being more than capable meeting opponents at the rim. On the opposite end, the power forward is capable as a rim roller setting slip screens and diving to rim quickly. Given his wiry frame, Riddick has the potential to guard three positions should a switch be called. Grandiew will boast plenty of size at the forward positions, given Uk Onyenwere Uk Onyenwere 6'6" Grandview | 2023 CO at 6’6, Simon Kibbee Simon Kibbee 6'8" | PF Grandview | 2023 State CO at 6’8, and of course Riddick. The power forward’s development as a spot up shooter and slasher will be major keys to his offensive side. Coming into the season, Riddick ranks 46th overall and 9th among power forwards.
Nolan Kliewer Nolan Kliewer 6'7" | PF Rock Canyon | 2024 State CO – Rock Canyon
Kliewer will be an intriguing addition to the Rock Canyon varsity group, given his versatile skill set as a play finisher at 6’7. The incoming junior forward is dependable as a rim roller, notably finishing through contact with either hand. Kliewer has shown flashes with the pivot foot down low, most often opening up with the right shoulder. While the power forward is most notorious down low, he has shown skill as a spot up shooter in the mid-range and beyond the arc. Monitoring his defensive skillset out on the perimeter will be essential for him staying on the floor. Kliewer currently ranks 71st in the class and 14th among power forwards.
