We were in attendance for this event – which featured mostly Southern California-based players, and below are the first set of top performers we saw.
Aaron Glass, 2025, Rancho Cucamonga
Glass proved to be a dynamic playmaker in both transition and half-court settings. The 6-foot-4 combo guard has quick-twitch athleticism, a strong frame with body control, and is hyper aggressive when attacking the rim off the dribble. Glass absorbs and finishes through contact around the basket, but can also get hot from behind the arc either off the catch or off the bounce.
Darius Carr Darius Carr 6'3" | SG Fairfax | 2023 State #63 Nation CA-S , 2023, Southern California Academy
At times it looked like a cake-walk for Carr whose aggressive downhill attacking mentality is a perfect fit for this type of event. The 6-foot-4 guard was knocking in catch-and-shoot three’s as we’re used to him doing and got two feet in the paint at-will where he finished with an acrobatic layup or a powerful dunk.
Eric Freeny Eric Freeny 6'5" | SG Corona Centennial | 2024 State #73 Nation CA-S , 2024, Corona Centennial
Freeny always impresses because his style of play fits so well in a variety of settings. The 6-foot-4 guard is super patient with the ball in his hands, rarely forces the issue offensively and was looking to get teammates involved throughout the event. Freeny’s versatility as a defensive rebounder who can lead the break and make high IQ decisions stood out in this free-flowing setting.
Isaac Williamson, 2025, Riverside Poly
Isaac Williamson
Isaac Williamson
When you talk about best shooters in Southern California – regardless of class – Williamson has to be in that conversation. The 6-foot guard has an effortless shooting stroke and his mechanics are consistently good even when stretched out to deep three-point range. Williamson has really good feel when creating space from defenders on the perimeter to get his shot off which makes him a lethal deep ball threat both off the catch and off the bounce.
Jeremiah Hampton, 2025, Windward
Hampton is all energy and that really stood out in the camp-like setting. The 6-foot-3 guard played with great effort on both sides of the floor and it showed in his ability to create live ball turnovers on defense and finish those easy buckets on the other end. Hampton is an intriguing prospect in the 2025 class because of his motor and two-way impact.
