Eric averaged 18.5 points per game across Corona Centennial’s games against Calvary Christian (FL), St. Bernard (CA), Sagemont Preparatory Academy (FL), and Bishop O’Connell (VA). Freeny was a consistent all-around contributor for the Huskies this week as he has been their primary creator during this early part of the season and has been distributing the ball very well along with the contributions he usually makes — moving effectively without the ball, shooting the 3, and defending tenaciously. The thing that always sticks out about Eric when you watch for him for multiple games in a row is how often he makes the right play and how he always knows where to be on offense.

Eric finished with a superb line of 20 points, 10 rebounds, 7 assists, and three 3’s on Wednesday afternoon in Corona Centennial’s (CA) win over Sagemont Prep (FL) 83-60. Freeny has been a tremendously steady presence for Corona Centennial of late and that continued today as he was the focal point for their offense, distributed the ball very well, scored effectively at multiple levels, and hit the glass hard.

Eric had 2o points and 3 threes in Centennial’s win over Rancho Christian on Friday night. Freeny moved excellently without the ball to create space for himself beyond the three point line, showed good strength and touch to score inside, and played great defense.

Eric needed to be and was ultra steady on Saturday morning as Corona Centennial played and won a competitive game with Mount Si. Freeny hit the glass hard in this one and really exhibited the utility of having a guard like him who can rebound and push the ball up the court. His leadership proved to be crucial as Carter Bryant Carter Bryant 6'8" | SF Corona Centennial (CA) | 2024 State #12 Nation CA-S fouled out in the 4th quarter and Freeny was looked to as the 1st option to finish out the game.

Freeny continued his steady ascent up rankings boards this weekend with another ho-hum performance where he clearly looked like one of the better players at his position on the West Coast. Eric maturely and intelligently spaces the floor and attacks closeouts, contributes on the glass at both ends, is defensively versatile thanks to his upper body strength, and has the finishing touch inside to finish with either hand. He reportedly already has received offers from UCLA, UCI, Nevada, and LMU.
