Duncan Moy Duncan Moy 6'4" | SG Joseph Badger | 2024 State OH , 6’4 SG Badger 2024 OBC 16U: Moy was the clear best player on the court in OBC’s victory over Mid Ohio Pumas 16U. Moy passes it at an extremely high level with both hands, setting up his teammates for open looks. Moy also had some absurd finishes through contact with both hands, two of them leaving me amazed. Moy is also an average shooter, knocking down one mid-range pull-up and a 3-pointer from the top of the key. He also had some bad misses, but his ability to make shots from the outside is a good sign for future shooting progression. Moy is a sleeper out of the Youngstown area but should be on all low to mid major radars.
Steele Meister Steele Meister 6'4" | PF Newark | 2024 State OH , 6’3 SF Newark 2024 Mid Ohio Pumas 16U: Meister was one of the few bright spots for a Mid Ohio Pumas squad that looked deflated after losing on a buzzer-beater to knock them out of the championship. Meister has a weird game, with a big body yet wiggle with the basketball. He’s got a bit of burst to get to the basket, creating some open layups out of isolation situations.
Brayden Fogle, 6’5 SF Lexington 2026 Wildcats Select 15U: Fogle played the best game I had seen of him in an overtime victory over Midwest Basketball Club 15U. Fogle was scoring around the basket, as he’s tough to stop with his size and strength. Fogle already seems filled out physically, but might have some extra upside to reach considering he’s playing up an age group. Fogle also made a clutch 3-pointer against a zone defense in overtime that pushed his team to victory. Fogle is one of the top 2026 prospects in the state and will be closely monitored by Division I programs in the near future.
Rj Greer Rj Greer 6'4" | SG Kettering Alter | 2025 State #167 Nation OH , 6’4 SG Springboro 2025 Midwest Basketball Club 15U: Greer once again balled out, scoring probably close to half of his teams points in the lone game I watched this weekend of his squad. Greer is an elite shooter with excellent touch. Greer has the size to shoot over point guard sized defenders and can beat slower footed wings off the bounce. Already with a couple of high major offers, Greer will be one of the most sought after players in Ohio’s talented 2025 class.
Ben Menker Ben Menker 6'5" | SF Mason | 2024 State OH , 6’4 SF Mason 2024 Midwest Basketball Club 16U: Menker had a solid weekend, playing his role well for a Midwest squad that found some team success. Menker made shots from the outside and is a solid complimentary piece who finds himself in the right positions often. I also thought Menker was solid defensively, being disciplined on that end and providing good help-side defense.
Bede Lori Bede Lori 6'2" | SG Caldwell | 2023 State OH , 6’3 SG Caldwell 2023 Mid Ohio Pumas 17U: Lori had his best game of the grassroots season in the Pumas final Adidas Gold circuit game. Lori was keeping the game simple, knocking down spot-up 3-pointers with a few cuts and mid-range pull-ups sprinkled in. When Lori simplifies his game, his shooting ability is impressive with good touch from deep. Lori sometimes struggles to create his own shot against top competition, but when he’s set up by his teammates he shoots a high percentage. If Lori stays healthy as a senior, he should eclipse 2,000 points for his career, which would be a great accomplishment for one of the top players from southeast Ohio.
Cayden Jacoby Cayden Jacoby 6'9" | C Pettisville | 2023 State OH , 6’8 C Pettisville 2023 Mid Ohio Pumas 17U: Jacoby was another player who stood out for the Pumas in their blowout victory on Saturday night. The highlight play of the game was when Jacoby put an opposing teams big on a poster dunk. Jacoby was also grabbing rebounds at it’s high point and being strong with the basketball. Scholarship programs should be looking at Jacoby for a developmental big spot, as his upside if he fills out his body is high.
